So the Toyota dropped to 10th in the live timings but still says its on the run.

Did something happen?

At present if they could have fixed it and got it out, it'd be on the podium.

I can't imagine it was a 22hr rebuild...
I think it's more about which parts they're allowed to replace, the engine had issues caused by the nose damage blocking air from going into the radiators. Really unfortunate sequence of events for that team.

There is no good place to find a PDF result from last year or an official WEC rule book, so I guess we're all guessing. My question is are there separate trophies for overall and LMP1 winners? Or was the P1 trophy presumed overall?

Toyota retiring hours ago was devastating, but Porsche on trouble is something out of prediction. I think this race has become classic Le Mans where everything matters to win the race, not a technological showcase anymore. Also, would love to see LMP2 leading the race, that would be interesting to see, because they are always under the shade of LMP1 fame, now it is time to shine! (Depends on how far the leading LMP2 can catch #1 Porsche gap)

As insane as the race has been, I wouldn't count out Toyota still getting the win with the 8. Yeah, I can dream.

The 2 is now within 2 laps. At the rate I calculated (3/4ths a lap per hour), he'll need about half a lap in the last 30-40 minutes or so... This is gonna be so close, slow zones could really effect this.

EDIT:. No wait, now it's saying he has over 2 laps in hand. I dont know that he can do this without help from the 38...

Quick question to anyone streaming on Fox Sports Go, are you getting commercials now too? If so I'm just going to switch to FS1 on cable.

My oh my...

This has just kicked off into one hell of a finish, to this already bonkers race, god knows what could happen to LMP1 right know, but this could be historic for LMP2.
