Have a spotters guide. OP Updated. (Will post higher res when I find one)
And FYI, the US Open is happening the same weekend. Expect Fox Sports to cut in to race coverage to cover some pointless first hole shots that could be aired during highlights later in the day. The main people to blame though are USGA, who do a terrible job with scheduling the Tee times. They almost always finish in the dark therefore requiring an early start at the crack of dawn.Faux sports presents the 21 or so hrs of the 24 hr Le Mans with our announcers sitting in a storage closet next to the old Speed set in Charlotte.
FOX Sports 24 Hours of Le Mans schedule (all times ET and subject to change):
June 17 – FS1 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM
June 17 – FS2 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM (June 18)
June 18 – FS1 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM
The entire race is streamed live on FOX Sports GO
Hmm. Factory teams leaving, P2 BOP to slow them down, or slow the Oreca's down, GTE BOP?
GTE BOP
Worst case scenario:
Fox to provide worldwide feed.
Like heck they are after last year. Porsche, Aston and Corvette will receive 500000000+BHP.So basically Fords get another 500000000+BHP because sandbagging?
How many does Ferrari get?So basically Fords get another 500000000+ BHP because sandbagging?
0 because they'll probably all crash out anyway. How many does Ferrari get?
0 because they'll probably all crash out anyway.
And the ones that don't crash will get disqualified because Ford protested that they were ineligible due to one of the decals being slightly crooked.
More than silly, stupid. The Ford family are hopeless in that regard it seems, still salty about not being able to buy Ferrari and trying to revive a rivalry that died with the last GT40 (Mk.V?). At least they stopped touting how American they are, with a Canadian built car and team that's (in the WEC) the British arm of an American team. Corvette's are born in Kentucky, and turned into monsters in Detroit. The pettiness Ford has for Ferrari is silly.
Speaking of GTE BoP:
The first car in the class to get an adjustment after the test is the Corvette.

Corvette's mistake was running .3 sec quicker in S2 which starts at Tertre Rouge and ends at Mulsanne. They were also .3 sec slower than Aston, Porsche, and Ferrari in the last sector which starts at Mulsanne and and ends at S/F but I guess the ACO didnt factor that into their change.
The simple guess is Danny trimmed the cars out and thats why they were slower in the high speed sections like the Porsche curves, but it could be down to a harder tire compound too compared to the other GTE cars. Was just about to say that. What is more worrying is that supposedly the GT are pulling anchors and that is why they were slowest, not due to any crazy shenanigans like last year, eh ACO.
The pettiness Ford has for Ferrari is silly.
They're still mad that Enzo trolled them in '63.
That's not Ford's doing but Ganassi. They run the team. Maybe they aren't a great choice for the brand if you want to talk about integrity, but they still won the race. That's all that Ford is going to talk about. They aren't the first or last team to do things like this so I think a year old issue is best left there. But do we really need to talk about this continuously? Come on, you never know, maybe there's going to be a new questionable tactic employed by Ganassi you guys can critiqueThe pettiness Ford has for Ferrari is silly.
