Not sure the speed at which the #17 went backwards into the tyre wall was enough to cause such damage. Maybe the damage was the cause of the accident?

We now have a Toyota 1-2 (who are cursed to never win at Le Mans) and Rebellion 3-4 (who hardly have a great record of surviving at Le Mans). Watch out for G-Drive...

E - I haven't heard anything of it but the Algarve car has been in the pits for over an hour, could be another retirement.

Yes, there are speculations that some sort of mechanical failure led to the accident, not vice versa.

Yea, the Ford V Chevy battle very much still alive, with being the #63 vs #67, good stuff.

On the subject of Ford still, aside from being one of the best looking cars in the daylight, they're one the most eye catching at night with the night-time lighting arrangement. Love the way the colour coded lights have been set-up around the rear-buttress of the car.
Is that featured in any game? (AC, PC2, IR) I'm going to have run the ford at night in chase cam to have a look now. Hope it is.

Good question, though not having any of the games on which the Ford features, I can't really say. I would like to think so, as it's a very majestic looking beast at night.

I'm looking at the live timing but I don't think it displays if a car is retired or not, how many cars are still left in the race?

57 out of 60 are still in the race (#4 ByKolles had an accident, #17 also had an accident, #94 retired)
Also the #25 came out of the pits after nearly 3 hours.

Do Porsche have live onboards this year? They were a bloody good soundtrack to the last 4 or so hours of last year when I put them on.

I think #98 can be added to that list, I read it returned to the pits on the back of a truck rather than it's own power.

I'm gonna tune out of Le Mans for a little bit and play some pCARS2.
Yeah, eventually I'm going to have to run to the store to get some food/snacks. Had other plans going on today, where I was going to miss about 12 hours of the race, and was going to pick that up, on the drive home. But things changed, and I'm able to watch the whole race now.

Just came back from playing a GT Sport daily session. The gap between 2nd and 3rd in Pro is still extremely small. BMW are really holding their own.
