Do you think we're in contention for a new distance record? There's been very few course hazards thus far and the pace looks to be in a position to make it happen.

We were on course for one a few hours ago, but with the recent slow zones and what not, it's looking ever more difficult to achieve that distance record at the moment.

No. A few hours ago, it was said they might have done so with no yellows and we've had a few SZs since and had a penalty.

Not sure if it's because of pit stops, but #63 Corvette is in 4th place!

Well more or less yea, it's due to pit-stops. The #63 and #69 swap places with the #67 which is one a slightly different pit-schedule, hence why the two move up when the #67 pits. Though in fairness, a slick stop by the 'Vette crew meant it beat the #69 during the last round of stops.

Oh man, my fatigue got the better of me. What happened to BMW?

Damper issues for both dropped them a few laps back, and then a hefty shunt for the #82 at the Porsche curves as it got loose, has put it out of the race. #81 still running, but a few penalties means it's now the last runner in Pro, overtaken even by the #93 now.

Can I get a Hallelujah!

Looking at Scoring and Timing. The Corvette just set its fastest lap of 3:50.148. So they found some speed!

That's upsetting. They looked to be so quietly consistent. Now it seems like their reputation is being thrown away like Aston Martin's.

My opinion so far :

Toyota has no contest though. Still, Rebellion trying to catching up behind let's see what will happened next few hours later. Porsche is strong as ever with first and second in GT Pro class. Myself was hoping for BMW being competitive with their good looking M8 but after through many laps... better luck next year I guess...

For anyone who doesn't have premium TV, etc, FORD PERFORMANCE has a free stream in their YouTube. It's pretty basic, split screen on-board streams from their GT cars with the audio from radio Le Mans on top. They periodically go to a full screen mode rather than split screen. :)
Motul also has an on board stream but there's zero commentary. :boggled:
