Bop on Gte Pro is the worst thing in motorsport 2018. Basically they decided months ago Porsche had a walk in the park for the class win. At least 2017 was an half decent fight. This year is just pointless.

Well, perhaps aside from the Porsche, BoP in GTE-pro has been pretty sound this year, with all the rest of the guys very close in the race with the post qualifying BoP. Aston sort of irrelevant, as they've admitted they're just off the pace.

That M8 is ridiculously huge, I thought those screenshots were edited

I don't think it's any bigger than the Bentley GT3, and that thing rips. As soon as they get the kinks ironed out I think the 8-series will be a real threat to the RSR, we saw it had the pace early in the race.

At one point in the night, 2nd through 9th were within 40 seconds. Safety car did help the Piggy get track advantage though.

Bmw and Ferrari basically were not allowed to stand a chance not even for top 5 it was clear months ago. Basically Gte Pro is Aco advertising for a price.

@Tajima Not really, considering it's the most competitive class once again, providing cracking racing so far. Yes it's advertising, but it's advertising great racing ;). Yes BoP isn't perfect, but it certainly isn't a disaster, and it's worked pretty well so far. When executed correctly, BoP can be a great thing.

According to the Wikipedia and Blancpain GT's website as reference, the M8 is longer by 30mm and wider by 194mm than the Bentley GT3. It's huge!

You can just feel the tension between those three cars

To be fair, 30mm isn't much, you could barely tell the difference with the cars lined up. The width though, is it really almost 20cm wider?
