Since CJ is signed up for the beamer, and I see three people for Mercedes that will be much more committed than I am, and due to the surprising lack of participation of this car, I'm once again going to go full retard and drive the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 (Yes, I still cling to the idea this car is a GT1 inside).

Please, call me insane.

To be honest, I just want a random car every week, picked out of a hat and given to me, just to keep me on my toes, but I really want to see the Panoz have participation.
 
Can you put me down for the Pagani Zonda LM in the next race, please? Also, when will the next race be held, and do I have the opportunity to practice?

INTRODUCTION

The Nürburgring is a motorsports complex around the village of Nürburg, Germany. It is located about 70 km (43 mi) south of Cologne, and 120 km (75 mi) northwest of Frankfurt. It features a Grand Prix race track built in 1984 (where we race), and a much longer old "Northern loop" track which was built in the 1920s around the village and medieval castle of Nürburg in the Eifel mountains. The old track was nicknamed "The Green Hell" by Jackie Stewart, and is widely considered as the most demanding and difficult purpose-built racing circuit in the world.

The 'new course', or as it's been named GP-Strecke, was built in 1984 and is where we race today. With it's 16 turns and 630meter straight, top speeds only reach around 280kmh (174mph). The Nurburgring is a high-downforce, high-speed German classic. Who will stand at the top of their class in the new "Green Hell"?

RACE DETAILS

Race room will open ~6:00pm est. (Friday) with qualifying starting ~6:30-7:00pm (provided enough entries). Qualifying settings will be fuel consumption/tire wear on FAST while race setting will be NORMAL

TIRE USAGE

Season 3's tire rules come into affect here with MEDIUMS as the prime tire for every race this season. Medium tires must be used for at least 20 laps while softs are allowed a maximum 15 laps (minus the pace lap).

You were pretty quick. I saved tires for the end.


I couldn't find a good tune for the clk on gt planet so I ended up using the default suspension and differential. Not many tunes for the clk for some reason.

My setup was dreadful. Gonna start from scratch. Not sure but possibly racing this Sunday.

If I didn't DC I guess I take 3rd. Unless you 3 stopped instead of 2 in wehich case I'd have been kinda close.

Can the race start at around 3PM on Sundays? I'm going to race with what I've got on my Panoz with no practice and no tune... but I'm used to that.
Also, I was wondering if I can do GT1 for Fridays since I won't be competing for the series.
 
The room opens around 2pm Sunday. Not the start of the race. Thats 11am for me, on a Sunday is pushin it. Especially if I stay up on Saturday nights to watch f1.

Well... I CERTAINLY won't be there for the room opening, and I'll be lucky if I make the race.
