What time and day would the races suit you?

If anyone who partakes of this series has any skills in making a table for the points, I'm looking for you! PM me or express your desire to help out. I'm also looking for non biased stewards for each class. A GTS driver to look over any incident in GT1, and a GT1 driver to look over any incident in GTS.
 
Looks good! I don't have time to set things up like that. If you'd like to keep a table I'd be happy if you could do so. I'd prefer a table here in the forums under the 2nd post, but if google docs is easier or quicker I guess that'll work. Thing is I need a table to keep track of ballast totals too. Last season I didn't have a table for either and just posted results and ballast in the thread, got hectic though.
 
If you can't do it, I have someone else who may be able to help. But he is running another series, so his time is precious. So if you can do something that looks official, and have a table in the thread, that'd be nice.
 
Seth, any chance I can change cars? Power and weight wise the Lambo is fine, but it's just a sitting duck in the corner's, it was really painful watching everyone else pull away through the corner's,

You might be better with a different setup. I was in the 1:33s with the Lambo @Fuji pretty regularly. Trying another car at SSR5 is premature IMO. If you want to change you can, but only one car change is allowed per season. 👍

Well the lambo is about 10 pp off the next slowest car. That makes it a little slower on average than the other cars.
 
That's funny, I was faster with it than the Vette, Panoz and NSX. It's mid pack and only a couple tenths off the rest of the cars. It's fine. On top of it, the faster cars (if they're actually faster) will get ballast.

its a straight line monster! no one could over take it without having a 25KPH draft advantage, if people pulled out of the draft earlier then they had no hope passing, I'm thinking either the Jaguar or jumping up a class and running the McLaren,
 
You'll have to be quick if you step up to GT1. Remember, you're allowed traction control as these cars had them IRL. That might help with cornering in the Lambo. I think 1:16s around SSR5 will be the pace... ballast and points will be up in the next couple days.

It very well might be. Pp is an oddity in gt5. Sometimes it's fool proof in determining which cars are faster, but it's not flawless. Each update makes it more complicated.

Yup. The NSX and GTR will be great here. Also remember your ballast, it will be up in the coming day or two.
 
We did a fun race because a low turn out. I'll send out a message to everyone signed up and if we get 7 to show up then we'll go on with the race. If not I'll call it n we wont do another at Fuji.
 
I can't run the Sunday series until next week, unless it's late starting again like last week, I'll call by after I've finished my race in the other series I'm doing to see where you're at 👍
 
No problem. I will get results up when i get home. Good to have 10 participants even though not everyone showed up. I imagine tomorrow will be a good turn out as well for Rd. 2.

Seth, have you got ballast details for tonight?

Hopefully with a bit of ticket duping I'll have my GTR in place today to use for the rest of the season (any ballast I may have accrued in the zonda I'll transfer to the GTR)

Also (and this is to everyone who is racing tonight), I need it to start on time i.e quali at 7:20pm EST, last week we didn't finish until after 3am here which wasn't a problem for me as I had the day off work last Tuesday but I'm not so lucky tomorrow :(
