a gallery into an empty space [speed thrills - 2.19.08]

Great LMR, the glow mixed with NY's reflections works really fine, specially in the curver edges. The logos are also a bit glowed, but they looks good anyway.

The wide objetive and the static location you used for the monster 12 fit perfectly. I was waiting to see your avatar on larger version, and here is.

The last one is like the odd icon :odd: lol

Oh man! Applauds you. Very very nice update. So soft, crisp, smooth, and clean. That second BMW V12 shot looks extremely realistic. Just an amazing update 👍

wow, thanks for the comments guys 👍 judging by the volume of comments, the bwm/audi/tvr updates must have been one of my best :D

PMC 95 Final Entry

Im not really happy with these. too soft and over saturated ... but, i took the time to edit them so ill wait and see what your opinions are.

I really like the contest entry. The over exposure and the high contrast looks really good. As far as the rest of the update is concerned, the car looks ridiculously smooth and clean. The soft background looks pretty good. Keep the suave shots comin' :D

I agree with you ES, they aren't great. I do however like your comp entry. The others are blown out and over exposed. This effect is good until a certain point, I think you've crossed that point. Mostly on the last one.

thanks, fallen, but, i think ive to agree with .*StReeTz*. :indiff: hopefully these are better? ill post the rest of my tourny pictures after the poles over. im not sure if i want to re-edit them or post them in tourny limited editing? probably choice b.

onto the update - abstract kitty:

I really like this set. It's not often you see purple, but on the Jaguar it is present. This works well with the abstracted photos as the color draws your attention to different parts of the photo. In my opinion these are very cool and artistic. The first shot is very cool.

i love the tvr update. i love the colors and how clean it is. it's like a cartooned version of a real car in a show. the soft tones give it a more artsy and dreamy feel to it. well done! i love the colors it brings too. the jag set looks very artistic too. nicely done mate

Hey ES! I really like your entry. But I'm not a huge fan of the soft Las Vegas shots of that car. They're well taken and nicely edited, but it's just not really my cup of tea.

But the jag is really nice. Something a bit different from all the normal shots on this site. Well done! 👍

That's the first time I see so complex background with a high amount of surface blur. Very very soft Tuscan batch.

Very nice XJR9 pics, angles, blur... The track seems Seattle but I think you've worked on the orange tone. It's interesting to see an "unknown" GT4 place :D

I love the 4th, 5th and 7th shots of the Tuscan, however I would have hoped you would have kept the original rims.

nice update i haven't seen any XJR9 pics recently.
I also love the update name. :) 👍

thanks for the comments guys, these are the additionals from tourny round 1. most are as they would have appeared if they had been entered. a couple had some "add shadow" done to them though.

  what an update! these shots are amazing:tup:
I love the angles you have used, i especially love the 3rd pic on the 1st row, the 1st and 2nd on the 2nd row and the 1st one on the bottom row.
Top notch update:tup: 👍

Very nice variety of angles in Vanquish batch. This time you was "careful" with the levels keeping all original defintion. I love the maxi-blurred ones btw!

The LMR preview is very promising. I'm affording to buy that car!!

Salu2.alexwrc

Wow, those are both very well done my friend. The first one is perfect. It is composed of horizontal lines which flow with the car and makes for an awesome photo. The second shot is also quite impressive. It has a "dreamy" tone to it that works well with the white Subaru. Great update man! 👍

i like the LMR shot. the effects on the bottom of the car, the reflections on the wet pavement, and the sense of speed from the blurred background. the subaru could be a little bit better, from my view the tarmac looks a bit too bright. the front fender could be a bit cleaner too, but nothing to worry about. not a bad photo at all. keep it up!

jgda9rs - you mean the snow on the road? :) i also put no clean up into the pictures what so ever. you can call me lazy if youd like, but, im more interested in colour, angles, etc than if every pixel is blured and smudged to perfection :)

Alex - thanks 👍

FaLLeNAn9eL - thanks 👍

.*StReeTz*. - thanks 👍

That v12lm looks very real man. Great job on that one. The subi shot is full of action, which is always good imo. Only I think that the rims are too small (which isn't your fault.) Well done shots!

Only one I don't like is the last one - the way the contrast is makes it look greyish and like parts of it are missing, and the cropping is kinda random at best. THe rest are great though, wouldn't mind having a poster in my room with the 1st pic on it. :)
