a gallery into an empty space [speed thrills - 2.19.08]

Really loving the Subaru and the BMW race car a little ways up. As well as the Subaru with the blue sky to contrast. Really good actually, eye candy baby haha. But seriously, they are great shots.

jgda9rs - you mean the snow on the road? :) i also put no clean up into the pictures what so ever. you can call me lazy if youd like, but, im more interested in colour, angles, etc than if every pixel is blured and smudged to perfection :)

no, i was talking about the right hand side of the fender of the subaru. like i said, it's nothing to worry about, i still like it, same with your new updates :)

I LOVE that Tourist Trophy shot, it's very dark and evil looking! You've done a good job of the 'Black Beauties' too, I always find them really difficult to photograph.

Great TT shot. The riders posture is fantastic; not at all akward or unnatural. The PMC final entry is extremely unique as well; I've never seen an angle remotely similar. Well done mate.

Love the scenery of the bridge photo, too bad it couldn't be used as a submission for the photo-comp.

All cars has a lot of nice reflections, given an interesting car paint feeling. I love that bridge section, and how you used the cameras to keep a great part of the scenery. I like it!

Those bridge photos are amazing, brilliant job empty space. Especially love the bridge photo on the far right top row that picture is amazing.

Very nice! The glow and neutral colors works fine with that combination car-track! I like the low saturation actually hehe.

Whoa!!!
 The LMR isn't the only thing that's wet.
Beautiful work man I love how well the reflection shows up on the 1st thumb on the 2nd row. I also love how the car has a glow to it. Suave man, suave.

Nice wet shots [empty space]. Really nice refelctions in them. would have been good if you had been able to enter one of these into that reflections comp that was on ages ago.

it didnt come out as clean as i thought it would from the preview on the screen, but, oh well. i like it :) if it was a apmc/h2h entry, i deffently would have tryed to clean it up.

Rayquaza - thanks 👍

.*StReeTz*. - thanks 👍

FaLLeNAn9eL - thanks 👍 do you need a mop and bucket for that "wetness" ;)

speedster502 - thanks 👍

im really surprised how well the reflections turned out myself. that was the entire point of going to that track. i wanted to see how well i could get them to come out :)

THe bushes and the car itelf are a little messy, but from the wall down, everything looks great. THe car looks funny without any obvious shadow, but it's still a good picture. If you have any 3D glasses, check out my update in my gallery, but that's if you have the time.

sorry, but, unfortinately i done any 3d glasses :(

yeah, the car itself needs some clean up, just much but enough to be noticed. id probably leave the bushes the same way though and/or add a little noise to the entire picture if this was a 2.0/h2h picture.

about the shadow, yeah, i noticed that on the tv screen and started to wonder if it would be accused of being edited on. my skills arent to that level due to lack of practice (and some would say my use of gimp as well for addvanced editing. more so my lack of practice atm)

something quick :)

i wish i could get rid of the annouying over lap effect with burn/dodge. i still need to experment with smudge too. i keep getting annouying lines that show up where ive blurred ...

Freddy - thanks 👍

You're working hard on your comp entries. I'm loving this haha, more fun then in the polls.

I like the care you've editted them keeping "the graphic info" in all of them. Last RSC angles rea really spectacular. I don't know how you bended the buildings!! Tha black 5 spoke rims are a great choice imo. 👍
