Oh. What he came over here too?

Member list.... MODERATOR?

Oh that's it I am outta here.

Lol.

Super Moderator to you, Jack.

Tell me you're not just noticing I've been here though. Am I really that stealth-like?

Seems cool. I only ever really went to the FM section and off-topic of GTP once I gave up on GT5, so it's whatever for me. I'll probably still peruse the off topic at GTP.

I feel rather happy, being one of the 'Original' Members around here. As I value both Forza and GT very equally, I feel like I'm in two separate communitys where I belong.

I have been on GTP for a long time. GTplanet always runs very well. Loads faster than most sites out there, very little down time, pics load quick, threads load quick. Everything about that site is VERY well maintained. The only problem was that there wasnt much of a fan base for Forza and there was a lot of hate. Which is fairly understandable for a GT directed site.

I tried other Forza sites, even was a mod on a couple of them (still a mod on 1 of them). But GTplanet is the fastest loading and most reliable. So I always found myself posting the pics on GTP and always coming back to that site. I lurked FP for a few days and decided it was worth checking out and have been very happy here. I still vist GTP for GT related topics or other topics. But I will use this site for my Forza topics.

With that said ForzaPlanet is going to be a very successful site as long as it maintains the same upkeep as GTP. As more and more members find how fast this site loads, how reliable it is, and see the friendly community, its going to boom quick. It will finally be nice to have a Forza home where everything is well maintained. In fact I would say it wouldnt be long before this is THE top viewed "Forza" site. Again, than you Jordan. 👍

I see FP as a kind of evolution. I mean, it was inevitable that the best GT Community was going to take a crack at forza. In 10 years, I can see this being as successful as GTP is now.

I think Jordan's timing was perfect. By the time FM3 came around it was clear Forza was here to stay, but with everything FM4 has nailed down the series is really finding its groove. I doubt this place will have a shortage of discussion material in the coming years.

This forum is how GTP began. A game dedicated board, but it grew way beyond that.

And I'm looking forward to seeing it progress. I only joined GTP a year ago, and it's 10 years old!

I don't think that's the plan though.. That means people don't have to go to GTP for everything else that board has, becaus it's already here. And if I were Jordan, that's everything I don't want.

I joined GTP March the 20th in 2005 :embarrassed:

Well, it's been 5 months. I haven't been on much, so have your opinions changed? And are the majority of the members GTPers still?

There are several other "Forza" sites out there. I have a Forzaplanet decal on almost all my vehicles. One thing is for sure, Forzaplanet is the ONLY site that is well maintained and reliable. I have been a mod on other Forza sites and this one is still the best. The other sites have down time, have bugs, get hacked, load way too slow, or are not well moderated at all. Forzaplanet is growing and will always continue to grow as long as Jordan keeps it as well maintained as GTplanet. And so far, he and the mods, are doing a great job. 👍

Growth here seems to have slowed, but who knows what Horizon will bring in a few months.

I was an ex-GTPer long before FM4 was released. To put it simply, that place is too big. Thankfully we have a long way to go before it'll get too noisy here.

I like the large community on GTP, but I also appreciate the small community here. It's a nice contrast. I've always liked GTPlanet, and I see this site as a sort of specialised extension of GTP.

I rather like it here. It's a lot less crowded, no DLC with threads popping up daily, no "I HATE FORZA" threads or any of that other junk on GTP. Yeah, I can get used to this.

Hell, I don't even play Forza. I just come here to get away from GTP once a while. It seems a little more relaxed, more casual here. I like that. It's also nice to have a low PPD average here.

Old member of GTP stopped posting a while back. Mostly just read

I'm enjoying my time here with the races and stuff should maybe start posting more :)

Well we now have 1500 members, and this site is consistently growing. I can already see how this is going to be different than GTP. May not end up as big, though. So, we face the prospect of Jordan running 2 forums, one of the most successful sites for GT fans, and if this site can keep growing, one of the most successful sites for Forza fans. Therefore, I think Jordan is a genius.
