Well guys, I'm on day 2 with no power. No heat, no electricity, no hot water, no Internet, no TV, no Netflix, no oven. Candle light and freezing cold. Huge storm took out power to about 180,000 residents. That's over half the population. I probably will not make the race on Saturday. I'll stay in touch as long as my phone has power.

Day 4 of no power. High of 39° low 19°. Awesome. Getting very low on data on my phone too. My shop is open so at least I can charge my phone and ipod, and make money. Not sure if it's the gaming or the chatting but I sure am missing my internet buddies.

These tree were not at my house but a block away. Looks like this every corner you take. Crazy. We're doing good but my girl is going stir crazy. Probably dinner and a movie tonight. Not having power gets expensive quick.

Washington declared state of emergency so we've got help coming from Oregon and California, maybe Canada.

I remeber the last bad tropical storm here in Virginia beach we lost power for four days we had to cook everything on the grill nothing like grilled pizza

Great fun with the group practice session last night. The Devils Elbow can be found through post #138 on the Height maps from APK thread in the GT6 Course Maker section; PR1VATEJ0KER with # 1 & 0 instead of I & O is the track creator. I would like to compete in the Sass's Hill Climb Challenge following this weeks race. Car classes and specs still need to be determined.

I did that windows 10 install this weekend. Everything went really good until i tried to plug in my ipod/iphone. Itunes wont recognize either device. Computer is recognizing both which is good. It seems that I could have one of several issues and I'm working through them now. Anyway just a heads up for all the iphone users out there who plan on the upgrade. I haven't plugged my wheel in yet so I could have a mountain of problems ahead of me. I'm guessing that part will go just fine though.

In honor of this weekends' 24 hour race at Daytona, we decided to host our own event. Presenting the 2.4 Hours @ Daytona!!! This event is just for fun and not a part of a championship. We will be running two classes: LMP1 and GT.
We worked very hard to get these cars as competitive as possible but they are not perfect. This will be a "friends and family" type event and not open to the public. Because of the short notice we're just hoping to generate interest quickly and have a nice turn out.

Cars / Regulations

LMP1

GT Class

*Vehicle selection will be limited to only 2 of each car*

Race Rules

• Practice/qualifying will start one hour before race time
• Standard race etiquette will be expected from all drivers
• If you caused an accident, allow the car/s to rejoin ahead of you
• All cars involved in an incident must rejoin the track safely and only when clear
• Heavily damaged vehicles must do their best to stay off the racing line and avoid further contact
• Lapped cars cannot interfere or compete with lead lap cars. It is the lapped drivers responsibility to be aware of traffic coming through
• The chat box is not to be used to criticize or berate anyone. It is a distraction to all the other drivers and only to be used for minimal communication.
• Driving backwards on the track at any time will result in being asked to leave.
• All drivers must use the access road when exiting the pits

Race Format

• Practice: 8pm EST
• Qualifying: 8:30pm EST Track will be reset from practice (Late arrivals will start from the rear of the field)
• Race: Immediately after qualifying.
• Races will be held in aceboy127's or Sassafrass_3 lounge.
• This event will have a pace lap
• Pace speed: LMP1-80mph / GT-70mph
• Race length: 144 minutes
