So I can't find any of my flash drives because I'm an unorganized person so the photos may take a while before I can upload them here. But I did get a photo of me crossing the line which I posted to my community page, so I have that one. Here it is...
I'm starting to learn how to use Gimp, the paint/editing software. So I added car numbers to the top of the Panasonic Paddock and to the Scoring Pylon. (Kinda hard to see the scoring pylon I know. Imgur is giving me problems so you can click
here to see it in the full resolution.) I got the numbers based off the last numbers each driver used in the A.R.S. series. (How'd I do for my first attempt? Do they look convincing? Like they could be in the game?)
I've said it already (Multiple times actually) but thank you so much
@aceboy127 for hosting this race! Indianapolis is one of my all time favorite tracks, and the Indianapolis 500 is my favorite race, and to actually win here, (in a mock Indy 500 no less) means so much to me. Thank you to everyone that came out for the race given how short notice it was, and for sticking with it, even when not in the draft and laps down. It was a lot of fun to race with you guys again.
Thanks to
@Whitetail for broadcasting the race on YouTube! You were great with the commentary! It was cool that one of my friends got to see what I do every time I tell him, "I can't come over/go out tonight because I have a league race." He said he watched until about lap 53 when he passed out, (Which is a lot longer than I thought he would since he really isn't into racing.) which I don't blame him seeing as how the racing action was pretty boring from a spectators point of view from after the first pit stops until the final 15 laps.
Sorry about the long post but like I said, this was a big win for me. My 10th win in GTPlanet leagues actually.
Regarding the future of A.R.S., Ace, I'm glad to hear that even with Bowtie and Sass gone, you're choosing to continue to operate. The A.R.S. is IMO one of the best run leagues on this site. From the score keeping, to the on track talent. So I'm looking forward to upcoming series!
Cheers!
