Can some one please explain to me how they score the points in fantasy live because i dont get how ron hornday and brendean dong both finish ahead of dale junior and they didnt make the race

Points for fantasy are fairly simple. We receive what the drivers do in the points standings.
For example:
1st place gets 46 points.
2nd place gets 42 points.
3rd place gets 41 points.
down to 1 point for 43rd place.
On top of those points we also receive points if our driver leads a lap and/or has a fastest lap
0.5 points for every lap lead.
0.5 points for every fastest lap.
We also receive points for the place differential of our drivers.
Driver starts 1st and finishes 3rd is -2 points.
Then we have the bonus points. 10 points for picking the winning manufacturer. 30 points for picking the winning driver (bonus pick).
Finally, if you pick a driver on the list that does not qualify for the race, then you will receive 0 points for that driver, as is the case with Gaughan and Hornaday. Then, you have Junior and Johnson whose finishing position was much worse than their starting position, which is why they received negative points.
Hopefully this clears things up a little.

With all the exciting breaking news around the league I thought maybe we could have a community news ID for posting to GTPlanet. A news agency resource that any A.R.S. racers could leak rumors with the anonymity of a reputable news outlet specializing in All that is of a new, speculative, factual, or historic context. Any thoughts or ideas, possible name suggestions for an entity?

Angry your choice of words always intrigues me. Yes, though I do think that is a good idea. It will help keeps everyone's nerves up and keep the racing exciting.

Hey for $20 you cannot be expecting too much, but a new game for $20 is unheard of today.

Sorry for a double post but it's so sad to see Steve Byrnes passed today, was my favorite brodcaster and even got the chance to meet him a few years ago. Honestly then I had no idea who he was, but I remember thinking how friendly he was to me and if he wss a driver I would start to like him. If the rain that's supposed to be in Richmond Saturday didn't already destroy some excitment, this surely hurt the rest of it. :(

Guess what I got to work on today....
