Yes whitetail won.
Anyway I feel sorry for anyone who missed that crazy race. Fantastic racing throughout the race. Congrats to whitetail for winning the race. We need more races like that. đź‘Ť

Well that turned out to be a fantastic race. The action this race produced is the reason why I got into "sim" racing in the first place. I wish it could be this good every time I hit the track. I thought the competition was great, fantastic turnout, leader board seemed to be changing constantly, we had a little bit of everything in this one. Couple cautions, a red flag, multiple different pit strategies and a surprise appearance from a former regular driver. Fantastic to have you there Racefan and you proceeded to do what you do and put your car in P1 in qualifying. Seriously though, thanks to everyone for showing up. I can't tell you how great it was having a large field for a race I know a lot of us were looking forward to.

I want to apologize for contributing to the confusion under caution. I had no idea what was going on and I just kept diggin' for spots. Hopefully we learn something from the chaos that resulted in a red flag but I think we did ok getting it straightened out. I guess the only real gripe that have is lapped traffic. I personally had three incidents with lapped traffic not knowing I was there, turning into me when I thought clearly they were letting me through, and just flat out racing with me out of corners and down to the next. Each on of these situations I was flashing my lights to let people know I was coming. I realize lapped traffic have their own race going but tampering with lead lap cars is not cool.

Peelster, Whitetail, Racefan, cBc, and everyone else, thanks for being there and making it a great race to be a part of. I'm looking forward to the season finale at Motegi. On to the pictures.

Alright guys quick update on the points. I did some calculating and discovered that as of Race 7 I am the Champion of ARS Indy Lights Season 2. I could technically be a no show next race and Sass could start on pole, lead halfway, and win the race and I would win the championship by 1 point. Of course I will be starting the final race, but I can really go out, run my race, and not have to worry about my finishing position for the first time this season.

Hey guys, it was a pleasure and an honor to race with you last weekend. I didn't really have any goals going in to this race but have fun and relax but you can thank @racefan88 and @Sassafrass_3 for ruining that. It was great fun to race with my old GTMSA Super GT competitors and I'm happy to see that they're both still on point. đź‘Ť

The race itself was going pretty smoothly until around the halfway point when @dylanlikes88 punched us both off the second-to-last corner into the wall. I'm sure this was unintentional but it was pretty frustrating to say the least. The confusion under caution didn't really get to me, although I feel it did spoil the integrity of the race a little bit. The pace of Racefan and Sass had me happy with third place, but a split strategy and caution flags put blood in the water towards the end. I haven't had a race that intense in a long time and I am happy to have came out on top and score a win for Swift Autosport in replacement of @swiftsmith. Apologies to Sass about the bumping and banging in the final chicane but I wasn't going to lay down there and let you go, understandably. I hope you won't return the favor next time! :scared:

All-in-all, it was a fantastic race to be a part of and I'm glad I was able to take part, with no practice! Thanks to the series organizers for this great event and to Sass for a cracking battle and eye-gasmic pictures.

Yeeeaaaaahhhh... sorry 'bout that. Race was still a lot of fun. I would've finished really good, but during that final stint, I whent off after the second hairpin trying to hold off Aceboy, and then spun trying to get back past him. Can't wait for Saturday. I will avenge my horrible finishes at Motegi!

Swift Autosport Finally Gets One
April 23rd 2015

After S. Smith had to step out of the car at the last minute. Ex-Indycar driver Brad Deer stepped into the car in his place.

After weeks of trying and failing Swift Autosport Finally managed to get a win in the Indy Lights Series. We asked team manager S. Smith what he thought about the teams first win. Here's what he had to say.

"I'm very grateful we were able to finally get a win. I'm even more thrilled that the team was able to get a win with the new Honda power plant."

We also asked him what he thought of his driver Dylan Larini. Here is what he told us.

"I feel Dylan is bringing great development to the team. If the chance arises next season to resign him to the team we will be doing it.

I am aware of his poor race results. But both of the results have been with there own faults. In Indy the team was still working on the Honda power plant. In Autumn Ring he was running up front when the car came out from under him.

Coming in Motegi we are hoping for a good result all across the board."

Well there you have it. Seth Smith very happy with his team and how things are going. Here are some photo's of the team during the race at Autumn Ring.

I'm testing right now. I can't come up with how much suspension I should run. no matter what I do, I lose so much speed in turn 3-4.

Sorry for double post. But I opened a test room. If anyone wants to join let me know so I can make room. I set it for 2 people so the lobby wouldn't get ruined by randoms.

Fantastic turn out, fantastic race. Thank to everyone for showing up for the season finale. Great win for Bowtie and Interstellar Motorsports. Congrats to Ace for winning the championship. My apologies to cBc for scaring you on lap 4. I tried to come down in turn one and you were there, we didn't touch but you reacted which put you in the apron/grass. Other than that, we had a surprisingly caution free race. I ran most of the race by myself but Peelster pushed me until the first pit stop. Once again thank you everyone for showing up and making the last two race feel like events. On to some pictures...

When you join a new series, full of people you don't know, you always have a little fear of not being accepted, of people not liking you. Of course when I joined you guys at Indy at the start of the season I was a bit afraid of any of the stuff I mentioned above could happen. Luckly in 15 minutes I knew I made a great choic. I'm here to thank you all for letting me join, none of you knew nothing about me but still treated like I was around A.R.S. since the start, that made me happy and always look forward for Saturdays night. Actually this series and some other guys I race for fun on weekends are the only things that make me turn GT6 on.

Thanks for all the laughs during the races, for the great, close, hard, wheel to wheel, but always fair racing which we had every single weekend! Looking forward for the next series/season!

Thanks a lot Michelin. It was really great having you around too. You definitely added a lot to the competition every week. We really do appreciate everyone who was able to make the races this season and the higher turnouts towards the end of the season. It really does make what we do feel worthwhile.

Anyway fantastic finale and even though I got beat on the last lap I cannot say that the race was not exciting, the amount of cars on track definitely helped there. Now if only we could have races like that every week. Lastly after watching the replay I noticed that Michelin came home with a podium, so congrats on that.
