I finally got it with a GSX-R/4. I had the ZZ-II up front... everyone was pretty packed together so I passed like 6 in one shot on lap two an ended up in third. Took the ZZ-II just before the chicane.

Won using the MP4-12C '12 by 7 seconds, using @shaunm80 tune here URL="https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...w-seasonal-setups.300860/page-22#post-9763728"]Exeter GT Tuning (Updated with new seasonal setups)[/URL] You have to add the Sports Exhaust then do the Transmission on this tune, and then set the Sports Exhaust back to standard and then set the power limiter to 67.4 to get 550pp. This is a very good tune when using a wheel. I found having Active Steering set it on Strong is a best for this tune when using a wheel.

Tried again this morning with the following cars

1. Alpine VGT 3x
2. F430 Scudaria 3x
3. Zonda 12s x1

I got the Zonda 12s as the rabbit every time and the thing just bolts off like a scolded cat, even if it starts like 3rd or 4th in the race.

So thought ok ill give the Zonda 12S a go myself and it handles like a pig on SH tyres. grrr

Got in to 4th passing a white Viper in one race with the Alpine, i was doing really well 4th by lap3 great stuff and out of the blue the Viper just slams me off track at turn one and i was a good two car lengths in front, so i pass him again half a lap later only to slam me off track again at the Rascasse. I hate this bloody race with a passion. I've tried with both Wheel and pad and cant get any were near that bl***y Zonda. I love a challenge PD but this is taking the P**s.

If you're having a very hard time I would just turn traction control on 1, and turn on skid and active steering to get it over with.

Or just skip it altogether at this point, I am fairly sure the paint chips have already been given out two or three times in the past. Seems like the last few months of seasonals gave paint chips I already have.

I tried the MP4 as well, but got comprehensively beaten. I know I'm not a particularly good driver, but when an MP4 is out handled by a Cizeta V16, you gotta wonder! Also, I got beached on the hairpin! How does that happen??

Will give the tune you mentioned a go - thanks!

ZZII without a doubt.

I can't get better than 5th in the ZZII, even with a weak field. Did you have any special tuning?

I've just reduced the power and added a little weight to get to 550PP, plus mucked around with the LSD and downforce trying to get a good balance but it's just not working for me!

YES!!! tried again with my ZZII using my G27 but added a rear wing and set the suspension to a softer set up and the thing got the win. Didn't have the Zonda this time but the Viper made it hard for a couple of laps nudging me and pushing me in to the wall but a wins a win. few...feeling pleased with myself. I moaned alot and sorry for that but in reality im not really one to give up. Once i start something i intend to succeed.

If using aids counts, I did it 3 times in the Ferrari 365 GTB4. It is most likely do-able without aids if you're using a wheel and pedals, the DS3 has almost 0 throttle control.

Weakest field I've seen so far is with our old seasonal buddy Pat Fletcher in the Buick Special on point. He is a true rolling roadblock, a benefit when we start so far back. The rabbit ended up as the Saleen S-7. Never seen that before.

It's way easier on ds3 if you use R2 and L2 for gas and break. It's much easier to control throttle that way. Nothing like a pedal but way better than using thumbsticks or buttons

Went back today (on my second account) and took the Audi r8 4.2 FSI R tronic '07 with Praiano's tune.
Always cars blocking and running only 1:42's I took the lead at Casino in lap 5 and still won by a margin of 9" over the Ford GT '06 and the Zonda. The rest of the field was way behind.
Not one AI rammed me today or seemed to have better tires or more power.

Compared to what happened yesterday, this seasonal is completely ridiculous...
Big payout though ... :P

Edit: after some quitting and re-entering I found the same "mean" set of AI from yesterday.
Today they drove like lambs, giving way, not being extremely fast, sliding in corners...
I won several times with 1:40's as laptime and a final lead of 5 to 19 seconds over the Zonda C12 S.

Edit: typo in the name of a well known tuner... :embarrassed:

I love this seasonal. I wish I could have the option in arcade to have this race for that much money all the time. This track doesn't feature much in the harder higher paying offline and it's a shame. This track is hard (as I imagine it is in real life) and passing 11 cars on this track in 5 laps is supposed to be hard. Great challenge.

Here is what I found. You can go a bit dirty in passing the first six guys. But from then on if you tap a driver (especially the x-bow) they go to super fast mode. If you cut them dirty they will play dirty back and most times you will lose out. Its all about out breaking them without cutting them off. If you pass them cleanly they stay behind. When you get a cluster of two or three you can dirty (cut into their line) the first cars in the cluster but you have to cleanly pass the lead car in the cluster ...
whatever you do... you cannot tap or dirty cut the x-bow ... that thing flies... wait for it to get stuck behind someone and pass it cleanly..

The 'Zonda C12S rabbit' is nothing compared to the guy who drives a Zonda C12S 7.3, old friend, Mr. Calvo.

The only time I couldn't win this race yesterday was when Calvo did a race of 8:55!! I was on a relatively slow car at the time. But if I would be on a fast car like the ZZII for example, I think he could be very fast thanks to the rubberbanding.

Fairly easy win with the street crossbow and the light car company rocket. The rocket is pretty fun around this track.

I added 100kg at -50, added stage 3 tuning, left turbo original, reduced power to 87.5%, works out to be 516hp ( that was the most HP combo I found at 550pp ) Hope this helps!

Thanks very much for the level of detail, and I don't mean that sarcastically. I'm gonna give it a shot right now. I used to love this track but it hasn't been used very often in GT6 at all so I'm out of practice. Thanks again Draggon. Seven Blessings to you (Game of Thrones reference for those of you who don't watch, who I feel sorry for cuz you're missing quite possibly the greatest show of all time)

Edit--You are right, sorry for going off topic.

also I have never seen around half of the matte colours... I would pay 1 million CR's for all the mattes...
I want all the chrome ones lol

Just started hunting colors, want all the chrome.

The last two however were basically the same shade of green however.

Dude! First try with your setup and won pretty easy considering I was getting used to the ride for the first two laps. I knew it was better than everything else I tried immediately and figured I'd win eventually. But started jammin by lap 3 and ended up winning by a few seconds. The turn radius was so tight which is perfect for this track. Like the last seasonal, it's difficult but not impossible. I need to spend the $30 Mil I won from the historic cup before I start building up credits here.

Thank you VERY much. This is a great tune!

Chris

Edit: The Zonda wasn't even on the car. The One-77 '11 was the rabbit, followed by the Ford GT '06, and Viper GTS Launch Edition. We'll see if I can beat the Zonda. It sounds like I won't given most of you are better than I am.

PS: I moved my final gear from 3200 to 4600 to increase acceleration. It makes a huge difference and I still had room to spare before redlining.
