Have any of you seen American Pickers? Some of the places those guys go and the amount of cars they find in barns, basements and fields are amazing.
The first picture from HumanDestroyah has already been posted and I have a feeling the Spoon Integra has been as well. Nevertheless, still a pain to see those...
Here's a barn find that I'm planning on buying.

Call me crazy, insane, or stupid, but I want to buy this. Badly.
My bad if it was a Repost. I posted the spoon integra in another thread a long time ago (after the japan tsunami). Carry on.
omfg that thing is CLEAN. Man, get it now. Even if you just restore it to original, that is a seriously cool and rare car. If you're really going to go swap-swap, screw the japanese foodblenders and drop in a V8, I'm sure that thing will swallow any small block you throw at it. Then drive it around looking stock down to the hubcaps and enjoy.
but considering how clean it is, it would be a crime to cut up such a clean car. Just buy it and restore it to original condition.
I don't think a Nissan motor in a Toyota is bad, but keep in mind an SR20 is an Inline 4 and the 1J is an Inline 6.
I'm guessing a small block V8 would be cheap to get and maintain, however not sure if my friend could really work with it. He mainly works with the "food blenders." Oldest car I know that he's worked on is a Datsun 240Z. I wish I could restore it to original condition, but being a rare car. I'm pretty sure parts aren't going to be that cheap... I don't have much money, but I plan on doing something with this car. I do also think it'd be great to restore this car to original condition...
What's the problem with the thing? engine, trans, what is seized/broken?
If you haven't read the ad, it has no engine. Transmission's status is unknown, other than being a 3-speed automatic. The seller has the inline-6 from a Celica-Supra but I asked for that to not be included in the sale and price. What it needs is an engine basically, probably a transmission, and I'm sure plenty of other mechanical things are gone due to it's time in the barn. I feel like it's a bit much to ask to try and get it to original condition...
Oh crap. That's a big problem. Er, well, I'd research a bit and try to get an equivalent engine to the one that was there in the first place, or maybe try out a clean engien swap to whatever you want, just dont cut the car up so, if someday you find the necessary parts to return it back to original condition, you can do it without trouble.
Or you can drop in a V8. I'd go for that considering it doesn't have an engine any more. Then again, I'd drop a V8 in anything and call it a day. Some people despise V8s.
Probably could save up for an original engine I'm guessing? I wouldn't mind putting a V8 in the Crown, despite what people may think of it. 3-Speed auto will definitely have to go though if I do such a thing.
Edit: My friend also brought up an AE86 Trueno hatch that he found on a forum he owns that was for sale for $1,500 with no engine, but everything else has been worked on.
I'd get the crown. Way cooler street cruiser than the overplayed 86, which is a cool car too, but the Crown would attract a lot more attention.

What am I looking at in the 2nd pic?
a cardboard vw fox. that will get parking tickets
Is it real? If so, very funny prank.
