Accent challenge!

Accent Challenge: Who can spend the most time tolerating such a car.

Me. Don't go there.

Anyways, asides from that, I'll post something with my weird French/German/Spanish/English combination accent, at some point.

Edit: updating with video

BTW,

Toyota Celica

How do we say this?

I say suh-lee-ka, as opposed to sell-ika.

It is almost like saying "Silly car" but lazier. But with different accents it would probably make that not apply. But it's easier to remember than a bunch of words with no meaning. ;) I have an idea to redo this challenge but just sing the entire thing, it would be something to do, and most likely give everyone something to laugh at when they realize the contrast between the sort of range I talk in and the range I sing in (I can sing about 2 octaves higher than talking and hit notes 3 octaves higher, roughly. That's because I seem to talk really close to the bottom of my range.).

Surprisingly mild Australian accent.

And your camera must be a bit drunk with all the alcoholic fumes hanging around ;)

Yeah, you can get pretty extreme examples in the country/outback etc, kinda like the deep south in the USA . However most of the city folk are similar to myself I think. Australia is a decent size so I guess if you lined up a person from the different regions and had them speak side by side you would notice a difference, but its not something that I pick up unless im concentrating on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOOA2ZhBIQY (warning heavy language) - here is an example of a "typical" Aussie accent I guess.

The first 8 seconds are pure gold!
 , I was almost tempted to recall a story with most of the words but that would have dragged on...

Interesting fact about that Shenanigans pub... I was chatting to 2 Irish birds and another from Estonia, fun times , was only in Darwin for 1 night and decided to just walk up the main street on a Wednesday and see what I could find :D. Had dinner at this restaurant called "The Ducks Nuts" Only in Australia

As soon as I saw Dion posted, I was hoping there would be rum involved. Not disappointed!

Post of the year!

Apparently you are suppose to drink it before going to bed on a big night...

Dunno...

And off-topic back on topic, please. I posted a legitimate video, and I'd like to hear your responses. Do I have a French-German accent?

Your username is accurate. You sound utterly depressed.

There, that's an accent. Sadness.

I'm not racing. If you can see my username, I have time to be better spent, but not money. Not yet, anyways. That's a reason to be sad, I suppose. Asides from that, though...

What happened? This is off topic. Anyway, I recorded, but I guess I didn't save. Will be posting to SoundCloud tomorrow.

There should also be an accent challenge with, for people whose first language is English, foreign words.

They probably won't know how to pronounce these words but it could be funny.
