Accent challenge!

Here's my shot at it. This is probably the worst video to hear my accent. I was sort of nervous and shy to be talking to a camera, so my accent went really typical British. It's nothing like that. I've never said water like that in my life. I say it more like, 'war-uh' or something lol.

I was in Huddersfield most of this year. I could swear I've seen you in Kingsgate.

Edit: You have as much difficulty with Hamman as I did, soul mates.

Edit II: Sorry Aldo

You could've done, on one of my very rare outings there. You do look familiar in your video. Who was I with?

I see you have the Harry Styles mop.

But your face isn't annoying like his, so you can pull it off.

Yuu arrr soooo Scooottttissshhhh.

Yup. Right down to the bad teeth and unmanageable hair.

And a surprisingly deep voice.

My voice broke surprisingly early. All of my friends at School used to make fun of it until a few years later, when my friend's voice broke overnight. He'd previously had quite a squeaky voice but after it broke, it was slightly deeper than mine. That was a funny morning in registration.

Ditto. Except I don't have a stereotypical Welsh accent in the slightest. It always confuses people I meet for the first time. We're not all from the valleys!

It's weird, both of you are from up north, and neither of you sounded like I expected. :P

My accent can get more northern than that. That's almost nothing like my accent, which is annoying, because I hate it when it goes all... normal, I guess . If I get angry I get really broad Yorkshire. It's strange how my accent is like that, because both my mum and dad are from Lancashire, and my dad used to have a broad Lancashire accent, but now his is a cross between the two. My mum never had a Lancashire accent, and she doesn't really have a Yorkshire accent, so I probably picked up hers. :P

I dare someone to do this and the cinnamon challenge at the same time. :D

Some great accents around GTP though.

I would do it but I have not got a camera.

Well, I guess that explains it. :D I guess it's pretty common, I mean I don't sound at all like I live in South London. Though my mum was raised in Bedfordshire. And my dad in lots of places. Not exactly centres for chav-ness. :P

Another to say ham man! And what was the car you said, I don't even know.

Sorry if I look/sound a bit of a wreck, it's 2am and my throats not feeling too great. Webcam's a bit quiet as well I think so you might have to turn it up a bit.

Oh and I repeat myself like three times in the first thirty seconds rambling on about my accent so ignore that

Were you kicking the camera around the 30 second mark?

What the 🤬 am I watching here?!

It's like chat room dating service for people who like badly lit rooms and get turned-on during spelling tests. I can't believe that 'linguist' and 'cunning' are in that order. If enough people donate hard cash I'll do one in the correct order... :D

Ford Mondeo! :D

Ah, I really didn't understand it... It sounded like you said some strange thing like Vonmodea, and I was confused. At least now I can understand.
I have one too, a Vonmodea. It's a nice car. :P

I think I'll give this a shot. I don't know if I sound like I'm from Britain or from Australia...(- Maybe sort of in the middle, of those two?)

Well, maybe. But I don't think so... I'll have an MP3 up tomorrow some time, then (or if you listen to the GTPodcast, now -) you can tell me.

Ok I swear down I've seen you in the city centre, your face just seems familiar
