Accent challenge!

A surprising few Belgians, but, yet, few Belgian responses. J'aime les accents ch'ti. Would you please post a reply, with a ch'ti accent? (That is, of course, if you have one, either of you Belgians)

The Danish, “rød grød med fløde” (Or in English; red porridge with cream) requires a bit of the Danish accent. - But I don't know if it should be added.

There are more Dutch speaken Belgians on GTP than you think. I know because I PM'd almost all of them a few years ago for the purpose of this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=125936

Water is Dutch too, and so is zebra :sly:
Funny Bert, very funny.

Pretty awesome thread. 👍 I won't make a video of myself because I'm not a fan of cameras or microphones. I'd say I have a weird accent for an Australian. Most people I meet think I'm English, even a few British people at my work were surprised when I told them I was born and raised in Australia.

I don't really have a clue where I picked it up from. Might be a combination of watching too much English TV and me hating the stereotype Aussie accent.

Edit: I'm also a German citizen, and I can say 'squirrel'... So that's neat. :P

There should also be an accent challenge with, for people whose first language is English, foreign words.

They probably won't know how to pronounce these words but it could be funny.

I'm ready to embarrass myself. I don't know how to say achtung, I would say...
"Achchcktung..."
I clearly pronounced Zebra correctly btw.

I was hoping you'd rotate your video 180 degrees...:dopey: :sly:

Just try pronuncing a random Danish word... - That's hard, if you don't speak a Scandinavian language.

As a German speaker, I got 'Achtung' spot on in my video.

This is the only time speaking German has ever come in handy on the internet.

No video (no cam), just my voice.

Note I didn't wade through the thread prior to doing this so I'm still pronouncing Achtung incorrectly. :P

Should be fixed now.

- It works now... - Good job. 👍

And... here's mine:

- I haven't got a camera (on my computer) either, so I took a color of some sort, instead.
(And, I hereby give you permission to laugh at me.)

You have a perfect voice to make radio programmes.

Nope, that is not how Achtung is pronounced. :sly:

How come that you sound so "English"?
