32, just started using the DFPRO (friend gifted me his) for this competition and moving up in the ranks now (finally!). Nice to see that there are plenty of others in my "age group" out there...

Don't see how that's a waste, I've been in IT ever since I was in the Coast Guard and despite my last job getting outsourced, there's still plenty of great opportunities out there. I'm just hoping the job market gets better in the next 3 years while I'm in school :P.

I guess im the youngest one so far at 18!
Ive always wanted to become a professional race car driver so hopefully this will be my shot at it haha. I was ranked 11 in the midwest overall but I havnt played in like 6 days been so busy with work now that its the holidays, so im sure im not at 11 anymore :(
Good luck to all!

And to you older folks saying they wont let you in the finals, they probably will if you can prove yourself that your physically up to the challenge.

@TRC Scooty

I guess what I meant was I've been doing IT since I was 19, wasted my college days for a 40 hour+ a week job lol It's worked out though, get to buy fun toys and go out to nice dinners with the gf, so it's not all bad.

i remember posting on these threads and getting people saying "oh you're still in school, you're not old!" now I'm 27, definitely feel old...but I sure hope 30 isnt middle age! I thought 30 was the new 20?

35....work for a relatively small charter airline as Director of Operations... was a pilot (Do228/Do328/Do328Jet/B737) other aircraft as well, but the 228 was by far, the absolute best to fly!.

Same here, I got an internship at Washington Mutual Bank right out of high school and started working full time, never went to college, now I am 26, think about taking ITT Tech classes or something, not sure, haha.

Middle aged? we're 30 not dead lol.

Middle aged is like 40 something!

I'm 47, but act like I'm 21! I would say 18, but then I wouldn't be able to buy beer.

As far as job goes. I'm a mechanical designer for a defense contractor working in Naval Aviation.

I'm 19, just got out of high school last year and took a full-time job/internship at Perfect Sense Digital (fastest growing technology company in DC).
Applying to colleges for next year, but it will be hard to walk away from the pay....
