RACING STUFF:
Hold the proper racing line through the corners as passing cars are to pass "off" line. Cars being passed should not weave back and forth on any straight or change racing lines while a faster car is within passing range. Failure to follow this procedure can result in a penalty according to the severity of the situation. (Be courteous, let the faster cars through)
All GTPlanet online racing rules and guidelines apply. GTPlanet OLR Rules
Any track incident must be reported within 36 hours of the race completion for evaluation by the Race Stewards and should only be reported via personal message. If an infraction is proven to be valid penalty/penatlies in accordance with the severity of the incident will be applied.
These penalties can range from point deduction penalties to disqualification from a race or the entire Championship.
Every report will be evaluated and a decision will be reached and made official after the stewards have reached a verdict.

DURING THE RACE STUFF:
There will always be slight knocks here and there, either from errors, or close racing. However, 31 taps before the first pit is something that is not expected, it's poor race conduct. Aggressive racing is expected, but bad corner/braking choices should not be made. Just because there is no heavy damage doesn't mean a race won't be ruined by punting someone off.
Try to let faster cars by when safe. If you want to be in a league then you need to respect the other drivers. Do not ram, brake check or spin someone out if you think a driver did something to you on purpose. Dropping out of a race is poor sportsmanship. Stuff happens, just get back in the race, go for yours and let the Race Stewards deal with the incident. Dropping out and jumping back in to berate somebody by mic. or lobby text is not smart and disruptive to eveybody on the track.

-Sometimes a driver will see someone coming up fast behind and they will try to get out of the way only to end up BEING in the way, that's just stress not intention.
-The faster drivers need to give the slower cars some time to set up a good line to be passed. Faster drivers please be patient, it's more fun when it's clean.

If something happens and you screw up a drivers race say sorry (or text it after a race or PM them) let the driver know what was going on and race another day.

AND MORE STUFF:
- No Intentional hitting spinning out of opponents
- DO NOT drive the wrong way around the track during the race- No Corner Cutting, 2 wheels must be on track at all times
- Do not driver over blue paint with any 1 or more tires
- Do not put all 4 wheels on green paint
- No Blocking while on a straight or weaving (one move may be allowed for drivers racing for position only)
- 1 Mandatory Pitstop per Race (Refuelling is optional)
- You Must Stay within Pit lines when entering or exiting the Pitlane
- No Trash Talking or degrading remarks to other Racers
- You cannot pass by going off track (if this occurs give the gained position back)
- You Must yeild to Traffic upon returning to the track
- You must yeild to Lead lap Traffic (try to keep and eye on running order)
-WHEN YOU SPIN A DRIVER OUT AND THEY CRASH OR GO OFF COURSE GIVE THE POSITION BACK IF IT WAS MORE THAN JUST A SMALL ACCIDENT. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO GIVE THE POSITION BACK AND THE INCIDENT IS REPORTED AND DETERMINED TO BE A RESULT OF MORE THAN JUST A SMALL ACCIDENT A POINTS PENALTY WILL BE ISSUED.

PIT LANE STUFF:
Drivers must not cut across the painted Pit Lane exit line.

MISSING A RACE:
Reserve drivers will be asked to fill the void spaces as they open up. Regular league members please notify the league president when you know you may not attend a race. League members may also propose to have the race postposed until then next scheduled race day. If a proposal is made all of the league members may approve or disapprove with the majority vote to rule. It's more fun if everyone is around.

As this is a team based win there will be NO!---->Blocking or down pace strategies. No sandwiching or pinching out. No pit maneuvers, T-Bones or ramming from the side or rear. No brake checks! 0 points awarded if you are found to wreck intentionally. Check OP for penalties and deductions.

I understand grid starts are the appropriate way to honor DTM. However, with the qualifying time and grid set up issues from PD, grid starts will not work even if we set up cars on track ourselves, mics. will be off so a race start audible cannot be given.

Well ALLrightee then! The M3! Yikes, never had much luck keeping that car heading forward. Thanks a lot, j/k. These cars are awesome, I'm psyched.

cB has a way to do accurate grid starts. Grid starts it will be. I'll update OP when it's ironed outs.

uh oh, I already know I'm in big trouble with this series..... let me apologize to my team member now and get it over with.

Nice job. Can't wait.

Dangit, did you not see what partner you drew?:scared: This really does look like a lot of fun. Nice job JT. Finally there's an advantage to being slow. You get a great teammate. I'm apologizing in advance, also.

I'm damn glad to have you as my partner Logan. We got this.

Well, we're halfway there. your half. Sorry about your Jayhawks. they sure do fight to the end.

Cars, tracks and teams give balance in one or more ways. There is power, torque, weight downforce and mechanical grip at work which can either help or hinder, dependent on the use and application of each. It may appear simply that driver records have influenced the team pairings. Driver records were definitely considered. But what may seem like a quick pairing of a podium finisher with a trailing driver was not the equation leading to the team selections. In fact reverse thinking was used and drivers who have historically been trailing drivers were considered first and their pairings studied and matched to them in order to equalize the field. Again, car and tracks are then applied to the driver performance pairings to optimize the equation. Podium finishers have certain historical performance trends, good and bad. The trends of these drivers were analyzed the most in order to accurately assign them to those referred to as trailing drivers. I am not implying that trailing drivers are not good drivers, so we will not go further with that term. It was used here to hopefully help everyone understand that a lot of thought was used to get cars and teams together. My ultimate goal of this league is to promote driving skill sharing among team drivers. If everything works out those drivers considered "better" should be less complacent as they are depended upon and the "not so good" driver will push and gain skills for the next league. Why? My hopes are, that in whatever league is devised next, we will all be in the last turn, during the last lap, of each race....BANGING DOORS!!!! GET SOME!!!!

I must have done something to JT, I got a good partner, but my car is a dog. 👎

I'll be posting my tunes for each car as I mentioned before. The CLK was tested at 1200kg's first. It was equal and beating test times of all others cars. Still some questions of performance came about. The CLK was lowered to 1180 for testing. It began to beat all other cars at various tracks by 1.5 seconds on average. It was then regulated back to 1200kg for more testing. It continued to best the other cars at 60 to 70% of tracks by .500 on average. It was driven by 4 different drivers against 3 other make cars at all times. Final conclusion: The car can win.

Im in, I <3 DTM.

In the OP There are two # 3 teams - Can i pick what ever car i want?

You have been added as a privateer. If another driver adds we will possibly pair you up.

Thanks...just hope that I have that car. Although, when all the DTM cars were in the OCD, I remember buying them all.
