Feeling better on Cape Ring now. I spent almost an hour yesterday afternoon and couldn't stay on track for more than 5 laps. uggh. Last night was the first time I could keep the M3 on track in a race. Kinda over practicing now-ready to race.

I'm getting better at the cape also. Maybe one more tweek before race day. I hope to be on tonight to check tire wear on the new setup.

I have found the best setup so far to be the one that JT shared on here.

Mike46, driver for Mayhem Stead R.E. forced his crew to tweak the car how he wanted it to feel rather than perform. Of course the result was a top performing car. The tune was shared with his team driver Allin which dumped him 1st lap into the 46.6 marks. It is heard that the two drivers are hoping for at least 5th and 6th starting positions.

Yeah. That's why we're hoping for at least 5th or 6th. We have seen the fast times. I'm just happy I got out of the 47's.

I'll be right there with you! I'm normally good on tires. But this track has gotten the best of me.

I honestly cant even get in to the 46s let alone Beat at 47.4 here, It must be me somewhere because I cant possibly tune the car to go .7 seconds faster........

I wouldn't worry about the 46's. The race pace will not be in the 46's. The draft will help make up for whatever speed you are lacking. There are passing zones on the track. Anything is possible 👍

I agree. There are areas of the track where the draft seem worse than others and those inconsistencies make it challenging in traffic.

Once more NCR endures another verbal smack down from Team Torque Unlimited's ownership group. "This ain't no Time Trial boy, now stay on track and ditch the hot shoes."

What makes Cape Ring a fan favorite on the DTM circuit proves a nightmare for drivers. Swirling winds off the mysterious Cape make high speed passing a game of Russian roulette. However what's most depressing for all teams is the complete lack of local cuisine. No overindulgence jokes and hungry racers have everyone on edge.

After the fiasco in Germany, team Torque Unlimited's second driver e46Envy has quit drinking and changed his diet for a healthier lifestyle. Sources close to the team have referred to him as "the irritable bastard". Since they can no longer calm his outbursts of rage with tequila they are bracing for the worst since his practice results have only been average.

Team Vauxhall driver, Redrobin, has had a last minute dinner meeting come up which he must attend. Red fears that the food will add additional weight and limiting the adult beverages may become an issue. Red plans to make the race, but he'll be pushing it.

Allin has announced that he will not be a pushy bastard this time. Something the field had learned to love he was sure of. Up until recently everyone thought he was just a prick in turns. Little did they know, separation anxiety was the cause of close quarters racing and why he freaked out when he found himself more than a foot away from another car.
