All incidents reported may have been avoided if damage was weighed against immediate track position/instant result. I am considering that at the time of the incidents there was not a way an avoidance maneuver in the area's where they occurred would have kept any driver in better control in those particular instances. We all do our best to avoid contact. Our judgements may be at times skewed by the thought of losing or gaining a position, particularly so at the beginning and/or final stages of a race.

I myself took a penalty and started at the back of the grid for round 2 without review against my better judgement. However, as an action was made on my part that could be viewed by the player I was racing with as wrong, I chose to side with the other player at that instant. There is no way I can prove that I did not commit an error resulting in damage to another drivers car. The replays simply do not give us that much information. So should I have made an aggressive move last lap or backed off and lost a spot? Read back above for the dynamic process that takes place faster than a half a blink when decisions are acted upon during gameplay.

So know you know. What you ask? What the competition is like. Either keep pushing with the same players or take a different path. I'm not telling anyone how to play. Just implying that choices are always available. Besides, who wants to be labeled as a JT.

Good racing boys. No penalties issued for all reports submitted this time around. Rough housing in my book is not going to gain you a penalty. You all know what will earn one so I don't have to preach. Let's not bust out the famous JT vs. RR at Fuji video.

Thanks man! I'm looking forward to monaco too, in real life and our race . So what's gonna be the the fast laps here? 1:31?

Hopefully not faster haha. I have managed high 31's and might be able to dip near mid 31's. I still need to mess with the handling of the car. So far have only played with the transmission. Can't see myself gaining much more though.

I'm calling high 31's as max. Any more pushing and it's wall grind time. But who knows.

Anyone watching/ listening to the Nurburgring 24 hour?

did the exact same thing last year, I had 2 computers going, didn't have the energy to do it this year.

30.2xx is my best. I feel 29's are possible. But it would take a perfect lap for me to reach them. Very technical track. Fun to hot lap. Passing will be tricky. The first turn is a concern at the start of the race. Gets tight really fast.

Chicane will be a mess for sure. Down the hill, hard braking , and guys trying to be heroes in one corner.

You'd have to be out of your mind to attempt a pass in the chicane lol. I realize this is a video game. But i like keeping things realistic. A pass there is asking for a ticket home

Wow you guys are fast already , I'm 33's so far , this track does seem a lot easier on tires . That should help the audi's . This is a very technical track , I think it's gonna more on the driver than the car or tune this race . I think it's like Suzuka with scary walls .

Look at some of the moves attempted in the last couple races and I'm sure someone's going to miss a braking mark and cause a big wreck at the chicane.

Unfortunately, I think I'll be guilty..

Accidents happen. Hopefully everyone will drive smart and anticipate the braking zone. The only way to pass in the chicane is by cutting it. Which i would assume is against the rules anyway. 2 tires should remain on the left of the chicane curbing imo. The inside line leading to the chicane should be the one with the position.

Have a feeling that there will be a good number of damaged cars this week. Passing isn't easy and the walls are unforgiving.

I'm pretty sure JT said during testing that we are allowed to get through the chicane any way we choose.

IMHO we should not be cutting the chicane. Bouncing through there really gets the car out of shape and if someone is cutting and someone else is not there is a great chance for a wreck if they're in the chicane at the same time.

It should be 2 wheels on the left on track. Anything else is cutting the track and should be disallowed.

Good way to put it. In order to keep everyone closer to using the same braking zone and closer to equal speeds through the chicane, 2 wheels on candycane, not on inside road surface.

I will be watching qualifying for Cote at the chicane. It's hard to get right and easy to roll over the curb. If a driver is unable to get a clean lap they will go to the back of the pack and in succession if more than 1.

If you blow the turn during the race please don't down pace to make up for it. I'll be watching everyone's replay for blatant non accidental chicane cutting.

Two tires on curb. This is hard to achieve if you go too hot in the first section. Your right front catches and goes over and across outside track surface beyond the curb.

Sorry, didn't mean to bring up all this chat about the chicane lol. Slow in fast out is without a doubt my best line and speed through there.
