Good racing guys. Great job that last race BK! You cut that 3 second gap and took the win by.015

Just finished updating the race results, JT should have them up shortly. Way to go redrobin, single handily keeping team Vaux in contention! I should be good for the last 4 races, see if we can move up to a podium finish.

Thanks. Team Vauxhall needs you! Lets see if we can grab that 3rd podium spot!

Rolling Start:

We will qualify and line up as we do now.

WHEN RACE START IS SELECTED AT 7:00PM PST:
Once the race countdown has reached 0 NO ONE MOVES.
After pole sitter moves out cars will follow in order. With no TCS your car will slide out on the banking so wait for the car in front of you to pull off to avoid damage.

Pace Lap: The 1st lap is the formation pace lap.
-All drivers MUST remain in formation in their respective slots.
-Drivers will line up/roll out in a single file. A minimum of 3 car lengths must be between cars.
-DO NOT pass the driver in front of you.

The Formation Lap speed limit is 100 kph / 60 mph
*Stay in your qualifying order
*Do not hit other cars or exceed the speed limit
This Is A Single File Rolling Start: When the pole driver turns onto the pit straight the race will go green flag once approximately 100m from the start/finish line. !In most cases this will be when the pole sitter reaches the pit entrance wall. The pole sitter will go green at thier discretion and will not be announced!. No passing is allowed until crossing the start finish line. If a driver crosses the start line out of position, they will be given a point deduction of 5 points per car passed before the start finish line.

Pit Lane is closed during the pace lap. Drivers who enter the pits will receive point deduction of 10.

If you damage another car before the start finish line you will get a point deduction of 3. 3 car lengths or more. Play it safe.

If your car is damaged before the start finish line at race start, stop and text. We will restart. There is no way any of us should suffer through that. 1st turn mishaps, keep running. A restart will not occur.

Violating drivers will still get a point deduction if we restart for damage caused.

That was some serious racing! I'm still tired this morning. Got by with only minor scrapes. Those races were a relief after last week's full on smash ups.

Some banging at the start for both races. Second race I was trailing BK pretty good then slipped up and nicked a wall. Damage slowed me down too much to keep up. After that, had to hold off JT for 8 laps. Trying to stay focused during that stint was the best racing for sure. I was pretty tired by that point and tried not to check the rear view too much.

I know lots of guys had a rough race, DRC should be a relief.

I had two very boring races. I watched the guys in front of me pull away and the guys behind didn't catch up. The highlight of the night was when Dangit dropped back to me and we had ourselves a drifting contest. That is until we completely wrecked our cars. Looking forward to DRC, maybe I can be a little more competitive

I would call it more like a "riding the walls around the turns" contest.

I checked the replay on the first lap incident between JT and I and this is what I came up with.

As I was lining up on the outside to prepare heading to the apex of the turn JT got in and I turned into him. He was in my blind spot so I didn't know what I was hitting. I bounced off him and into the opposite wall which caused me to begin spin which JT was unable to avoid hitting me and spinning me completely.

Apologies to jt for asking for my spot back. It was basically my fault for turning into JT.

Scorpion and I got into some rough racing but I think it wasn't anything to cry about other than hard racing. I'm hoping Scorp feels the same way.

I'm very happy with how I finished the second race and am glad that I raced after all.

Thanks for another fun race JT!

I'm glad you raced.

As far as our run in goes I noticed you scrubbed some speed heading towards the pool and you went wide right. I punched it on the driving line to get a run on you knowing you would have to go far left to recover your deep line. Basically I did a high low behind you but in a point A to B style. I hugged the inside line hoping you would give up the line seeing my speed, but as you said, I was in a blind spot. We could have both fit, it just didn't work out is all. I know it's hard to practice more, but practice gives more opportunity for door to door racing. Next time your on we should run side by side on a few tracks. It helps figure out where others are trying to go and when to make way for a battle in an upcoming turn.

That's a great idea. I can only learn so much from hot lapping. I need the door to door experience. I generally tend to panic when I'm near someone because of that LOL

Which races you guys watching today?

I have retired the Sony headset and went with astro's , much happier so far but havnt tried the mic out online yet.

Nuts how only one side of the wing cracking off exposed the tire enough to grab the leading drivers tire. He probably had no idea it cracked off.

Haven't heard much regarding this weeks race. What kind of times are your guys turning? Assuming RR may have the faster car this week. Feeling i may be middle of the pack. Can't seem to get a handle on my tire wear at Daytona.

Ill have to stop 2x - 2 STOPS FTW ! ! !

I dont think daytona commands its own dedicated set-up like monaco so I have not done any practice yet. It is going to be a tight group race until the end.
