Spa. ncr, RR and I have been on this track a lot due to the Inter-league race. We still do not hold the secret to any tire longevity tricks. They burn hot and fast.

They melt like butter on hot popcorn

Haven't had the chance to practice yet on SPA. Grilled out tonight after work. Had "Best Grilled Pork Chops" and they were excellent with a nice cold Sam Summer! Afterwards decided to sit down and watch Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Very good movie.

I'll try jumping on tomorrow night to give SPA some hot laps. I mainly need to figure out my gearing. Haven't messed much with the setting of the car since week 1. So should be very little adjusting. Have been happy with what i have.

What is "Best Grilled Pork Chops" ?!? Cause I want those!

Set up doesn't seem to matter as much as some tracks , it's gonna come down to tire wear for a lot of different people, that seventh lap is crazy no matter how much you conserve . I just love driving and racing here there's some drafting , fun corners , gigantic hills and plenty of time to eat and drink on the straights !

How fast are times getting , I'm in 14,s on a perfect lap I'm thinking pole will be 2:13 something or will it be faster ?

I've seen some 13's, so I would expect at least a 13 on pole . I don't have to worry about pole so I'm working on tire wear.

Spa produces ill handling beginning around the 50% tire wear mark. Grip falls off faster than the other tracks it seems to me.

Here you go. Easy to prep and best pork chop you'll have.

1/2 cup water
1/3 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
2 garlic cloves, minced
6 pork loin chops, fat removed

Directions:

1
In deep bowl mix all marinade ingredients.
2
Marinate at least 2 hours.
3
Remove from marinade and cook over medium-high heat on greased grill for no more than 15 minutes or until done. Cooking time for second side is shorter by 1-2 minutes. 3/4" or thinner, 5-6 minutes maximum per side, thicker than 3/4" 6-7 minutes maximum per side. DO NOT OVER_GRILL, chops will become tough. After 2 minutes grilling on a side, rotate chops 45 degrees for even cooking. Turn over when juices pool on upper surface and meat appears to be cooked half-way through.

Sweet thanks, I was going to grill pork chops tommorow and I haven't grilled them before . That's a crazy coincident , I will call them '' online ps3 racing chops "

Those PURE drivers would be in the 11's with these cars! Haven't practiced yet. Tennis elbow has flared up again-driving isn't real fun right now.

I love SPA, It's a great track with sections of push and loose . I'd love to know how to do 11's here.

From what I remember from the multi club race the "fast" guys used the WHOLE track. Including run offs and corner chops. But hey my memory isn't what it used to be

Hey JT, I'm out again this week. I have been switched to a new store and my schedule is all kinds of messed up. Sorry bk

Thanks for the tip . I normally use all the track. I've read the PURE threads to see what they consider a legal corner and I try to follow that. I should be on again tonight if anyone is around.

We ran an event with GT500 cars at around their stock specs on Race Mediums. Can't remember my exact hot lap times-seems like mid 14's? Anyway those guys started hitting 11's while we were practicing, that's why I thought of it.

With the same HP that we are running?

If I remember correctly the PURE GT500 cars were with 512bhp. If it wouldn't mess me up for race day I would grab my GT500 GTR and try it.

I'm definitely doing project cars. I'll be getting a pc soon.

I finally got some runs in today. My best was a 2:15.5. But surprisingly I was able to run 7 laps with decent tire left.

Have yet to practice. Guess i better get on tonight to see what i have. This week has just flown by.

You are one of three people that I feel could show up Thursday and win. Practice or not. JT and NCR are the other two. I spent some time practicing with your fourth team mate during the inter league race and I was just crushed by your times. I have a ton of respect for the people we have in this group. BK and red robin are two more that will really surprise. Mike is the sleeper, In a good way. Thursday will be interesting and that is for sure.

We are running two tires on track at Eau Rouge. The part your car rolls on, not the parking lot stripes to the left. I expect to see runoff at Bianchimont. Just don't snack anyone coming back on who is running the correct line. Lift and wait.
