Spa. ncr, RR and I have been on this track a lot due to the Inter-league race. We still do not hold the secret to any tire longevity tricks. They burn hot and fast.

xR0ADRASHxThey melt like butter on hot popcorn
Haven't had the chance to practice yet on SPA. Grilled out tonight after work. Had "Best Grilled Pork Chops" and they were excellent with a nice cold Sam Summer! Afterwards decided to sit down and watch Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Very good movie.
I'll try jumping on tomorrow night to give SPA some hot laps. I mainly need to figure out my gearing. Haven't messed much with the setting of the car since week 1. So should be very little adjusting. Have been happy with what i have.
mike46and2What is "Best Grilled Pork Chops" ?!? Cause I want those!
Set up doesn't seem to matter as much as some tracks , it's gonna come down to tire wear for a lot of different people, that seventh lap is crazy no matter how much you conserve . I just love driving and racing here there's some drafting , fun corners , gigantic hills and plenty of time to eat and drink on the straights !
How fast are times getting , I'm in 14,s on a perfect lap I'm thinking pole will be 2:13 something or will it be faster ?

Here you go. Easy to prep and best pork chop you'll have.
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
2 garlic cloves, minced
6 pork loin chops, fat removed
Directions:
1
In deep bowl mix all marinade ingredients.
2
Marinate at least 2 hours.
3
Remove from marinade and cook over medium-high heat on greased grill for no more than 15 minutes or until done. Cooking time for second side is shorter by 1-2 minutes. 3/4" or thinner, 5-6 minutes maximum per side, thicker than 3/4" 6-7 minutes maximum per side. DO NOT OVER_GRILL, chops will become tough. After 2 minutes grilling on a side, rotate chops 45 degrees for even cooking. Turn over when juices pool on upper surface and meat appears to be cooked half-way through.

ncrthreeThose PURE drivers would be in the 11's with these cars! Haven't practiced yet. Tennis elbow has flared up again-driving isn't real fun right now.
E46EnvyI love SPA, It's a great track with sections of push and loose . I'd love to know how to do 11's here.
xR0ADRASHxFrom what I remember from the multi club race the "fast" guys used the WHOLE track. Including run offs and corner chops. But hey my memory isn't what it used to be

I'm definitely doing project cars. I'll be getting a pc soon.
xR0ADRASHxI finally got some runs in today. My best was a 2:15.5. But surprisingly I was able to run 7 laps with decent tire left.
E46EnvyYou are one of three people that I feel could show up Thursday and win. Practice or not. JT and NCR are the other two. I spent some time practicing with your fourth team mate during the inter league race and I was just crushed by your times. I have a ton of respect for the people we have in this group. BK and red robin are two more that will really surprise. Mike is the sleeper, In a good way. Thursday will be interesting and that is for sure.
