Nice runs by both redrobin and BK. Congrats. Robin ran great in race 1 he got 4-5 seconds ahead so I just went into cruise control. BK kept closing faster and faster in race 2. Lap 16 I tried to hold him off into turn 1 but went in too deep. He had an awesome run in that race.
Was surprised to run that well though. I've never, ever done well there. Some last minute tuning got the car driving extremely well-had never gotten into the 24's until just before qualifying.

I did not see Red coming, I was a little surprised that NCR showed up along side of me in turn one!
May bad DJ did not think you would stick your ABT nose in there either.

No problem. You went really wide entering the turn. So i thought you were letting me by on the low end. I was hugging the bottom curb and BAMB! I didn't see it coming as i was 3/4 past you at that point.
Needless to say, my mechanics will be busy this week installing a new rear suspension and repairing some body work.

Great job in qualifying! I could see you getting quicker everytime we practiced. My RR/Bo hybrid setup wasn't very good one the long run, tire wear was horrendous. Used my set up for race 2, but for some reason i kept getting loose getting onto the back section of the track. Might have been just me, I was suffering spasms in my neck and back, it was hard to concentrate. I need a new career.

I watch my track map and rear view like a hawk. I always know who's coming or going. With heavy damage now you have to be track aware.

Thanks, I had to make up for my terrible mistake in race one. My tires for some reason lasted really long in the 2nd race. By lap 17 I still had more then 1/2 tread left.

BK, nice win in that 2nd heat. Sorry if i held you up. I was trying to keep a 3rd place finish but quickly realized it wasn't going to happen. So i got out of the way and let you by before the chicane.
Great job reeling in NCR. He must of had an 8 second gap on you at one point 👍
Edit: Actually, that may have been the 3rd place finisher i was thinking about. Either way, nice race!

Thanks, Dangit. I appreciate that. I got lucky in the first race. I was far enough back to miss the early mishaps. That's probably about as good as gets, but you know I'll be trying. Some RL obligations will be cutting into my practice time the next couple of weeks. My priorities sometimes get mixed up.

The scheduled day doesn't mesh right now. I asked him to race whenever he can as privateer. He will be back again one series or another.
