Looks like "stormwatch" has a whole new meaning after the last.

I'm getting a compact. Probably a Springfield. XDS 45 more than likely, so it can go places. I also like the FN Fiveseven for the wife as home defense.

Yes it was a little nerve racking the first few days. We are just gearing up for home defense. Carrying is somewhat frowned upon here.

I'm in the process myself. Just waiting for my paperwork to go through (3 months). Looking at a Glock 40. It's carried by my local law enforcement.

Wow! I walked in the store and walked out 20 minutes later with it. It took the same amount of time to get my license to carry/conceal. Move to PA...

I can carry any handgun in PA with my license. Conceal or not so size doesn't matter. I got the 17 because of accuracy. I can put 20 shots in a 2" circle from 50'. Closer range for protection and no one stands a chance.
 
3 month process here as well. I'd go with a shotgun for home defense. Might make a mess. But there is a good chance you'll hit your target...among with other things :lol:

The local sheriff told my wife to get a double barrel shotgun and hide in the bathroom. If they enter pull both triggers.... that'll leave a mess....
 
My wife doesn't want a gun in the house. Probably a good idea since my neighborhood is so bad it might get stolen the first time we leave the house alone. But i want one!

Get a good safe and bolt it to the floor.

I have a shotty already. I want to attach a pistol to the headboard with one of those finger touch combo lock pads.

No carry here unless your a jeweler or some ****. Gotta run compact. 17 is A+.
 
I'm going to look into the 17. Liked what I saw on the video. As for home defense a shotty is the way to go. You don't have to worry about accuracy as much. Chances are you'll hit something.

I'm a huge fan of the 17. Here in PA they're hard to get because people are just buying them as soon as they find them. I checked with the dealer yesterday before I left and he had four. 30 minutes later when I got there he had one left.
 
I'd say, the majority were carrying too much speed into the corner and getting onto the throttle to soon which is creating the understeer.

Is it a downhill sweeper? Looks like they don't realize how fast they are going.
 
That corner is off camber and uphill. The suspension unloads at the top and car gets super floaty with no grip.

so the stock suspensions are too soft for the speed that they are going.

In FL it was the same deal, walk in - walk out. Pistols were a 2 day wait unless you had a carry. I didnt even have a FL ID just needed proof that I lived in FL. 👍
CT on the other hand has stupid people making stupid rules. 2 weeks wait time for rifles. No AK 47s , no threaded barrels or muzzle brakes, no movable stocks on assault weapons........................... My rifles have been collecting dust since I came back home just from the ridiculous price for ammo and range fees. :ouch:


Went to Able's house for a few days to play with his toys.... Now I get why he likes to play outside rather than playstation.

I only managed to fall half a dozen times or so and only sprained my knee. Nothing Broken 👍

In this picture I display my level of suck while I can't keep up with an 8 year old ( able's younger brother) on a KTM 65 as a ride a 250 ... I now must live with that shame for the rest of my life. :guilty: :lol:

The true mark of a man is exclaiming his level of suck. Seems you did some growndididuped over the Christmas break.

anybody know what happend to the LeMans' thread, I know it was around here somewhere??
is anyone interested in practicing for the upcoming series race in 3 days time?

or have we all gone out and bought PC's and abandoning GT5 for the hopes of some thing greater out there in the form of "pay as you go, but don't run off in the grass or bump anybody" iRacing
or are you hopping that PCars will be a driving simulator and not an arcade style of game and being finished in less than a year?
just wondering.... out here in GT5 land....

I have been off topic but their isn't much for me to discuss concerning the LMP's. I'm going to suck, spin and lose. Also can't say anything about Pcars or iRacing because I won't be able to afford any PC's anytime soon.
