Resizing in Paint is a PITA but if you happen to have a different program, not to sound like an ass, just open up the image and resize it.

Or just ask us to do it.

I Think.
You need to use the convert command which is a member of the ImageMagick suite of tools. Use it to convert between image formats as well as
=> Resize an image
=> Blur an image
=> Crop an image
=> Despeckle an image
=> Dither an image
=> Draw on an image
=> Flip an image
=> Join an image
=> Re-sample, and much more.
Task: Convert an image in the JPEG format to PNG Type the command as follows:
$ convert input.jpg output.png
Task: Resize the image Resize and convert an image in the JPEG format to PNG
$ convert -resize 50% input.jpg output.png
You can also create a complex effect such as:
$ convert -size 360x85 xc:transparent -font Bookman-DemiItalic -pointsize 72 -draw "text 25,60 'nixCraft'" -channel RGBA -gaussian 0x6 -fill YellowGreen -stroke RosyBrown -draw "text 20,55 'nixCraft'" nixCraft.png

Does anybody know what goes wrong with my avatar images? Whenever I try to do them myself the quality is always awful when I upload them on to GTP.

EDIT: I've tried everything with this image, and I can't crop it square and resize it without the quality going awful. Could somebody resize this to premium sized please, and tell me what they do/use?

How do you make avatars in gif format 120x120 to it doesn't exceed 25kb? or is it not possible? because I made this, but with 514kb it's too large for this forum.

Every frame takes up memory so, to fit into 25kb you can only use about 4 or 5 frames (depending on the detail of the original picture)

I can't see the original as I'm at work, but there is no way you'll get a 514kb animation down to 25kb (assuming it's at 120x120 already)

I've just gone through my avatar folder and found a bunch of avatars which I either never used or used for a short period of time, so I thought that perhaps some others might like to use them. Most of them are band related, but there's some others in there too. I'm fairly sure they all exceed the non-Premium avatar size, so if you're not a Premium member then you don't deserve them, cheapskate just give us a shout if you'd like any of these at 100x100.
