Thanks guys, I was kind of hoping for the 2 of you to join :)

Added some info to the first post. You might want to give a quick re-read.

Yep, the countdown is correct for me.

Kinda want to run the GT86, but I'm no alien, and don't fancy circulating at the back.
So I could well will be in the Type R or S2000 too 👍

unless... The GT86 Anniversary comes available ;) 👍

You guys can be expecting a video from this, and I won't forget to save a replay this time by putting a sticky note on my TV :D

From the connection issues we had with the Midget Power event, I would recommend setting the "Race Quality" to standard (or less), and that everyone restarts their router before the event.

as my connection problems seems solved , sign my up please
I probably drive one of those "extra respect" cars , I'm not seeing myself as an alien but maybe this makes the action as close as possible 👍
looking forward to this

Thanks to everyone for signing up so far! Happy to see so many joining

I will have server up tonight for few hours from 9pm BST for anyone interested in some practice laps. I might be afk at times, though.

Could the exact lobby settings be posted here @Cu3e to create my own lobby to pratice during the week ?
I will drive with the h-pattern and clutch again as I'm pretty getting used to it.
maybe I'll join todays practise but its a bit late for me .
Thank you @BrandonW77 for your kind words ,I appreciate that:cheers:

Sure, I will post the settings later tonight

Sign me up for this, please.

I'll take a BRZ, even though I'm far from being super-quick myself. Might keep an RX-8 in reserve just in case I can't keep up with the pack.

KingKlingeling, could you please post some lap times with what ever car you intend to use. I am not sure are those weaker cars competitive even in the hands of an alien.

I am open for adding more cars to the mix with slightly more power for the straights. But also if instead of using those weaker cars you and other fast dudes could also consider using CM or CH tires to balance the pack if you don't mind

I think we got pretty consistent 1.07:ish at Tsukuba and 0:45:ish at Twin Ring West last night with amar and hobbsy using mostly the RX and S2K. Civic being slightly slower than the two and BRZ even slower mostly on the straights.

Also as a sidenote that 370GT might be much stronger than my comparison shows, I noticed I had CS in front and CM at back, no idea why. Was wondering why it handled like a Mustang ;)

I shall be having another bash at those times later tonight, this time with the wheel!

I'm pretty sure there is more time to gain, so will be keen to see just how far off the mark I am.

Here is a question for the aliens amongst us! Or anyone that knows, is using the shifter & clutch quicker than just manual shifting?

I finally got one recently, but 4th to 5th keeps catching me out. Ultimately I need to persist with it and keep practising. :D But would be good to know that my efforts will be rewarded with time gain (or not).

Cheers

i'm 0,6 to 1 second slower with the clutch.
to be honest , it really depends on my mood and the car if I'm using the clutch and h-pattern , or sequential mode ( race cars like rally or tc's sequential, street cars h-pattern )
I never use the paddles , I removed them after I bought the wheel
long story short :
h-pattern = more fun for me
sequential = bit faster

Thanks @KingKlingeling this confirms my suspicions!... mind you, in the Roadster cup you were still about 4 secs faster than me...:boggled:

I agree with your analogy, and my intention is really to have more fun.
Pressume you are using the T500 also, from your profile pic?
