Oh my God, can you read? Go and watch the video, ffs! It's not a case that 'they could be there', it's a case that they are there!

-insert facepalm picture here

OH MY GOD CAN'T You read? It's race mod menu not tuning one!

facepalm your ***

Now what if my car came with a 6 speed transmission...

Or a 7 Speed, then it'd be a downgrade. But being able to add a extra gear or two to a car will be awesome, it'll help out cars like the R32, R33, the RX-7s, and a few others with 5 speeds.

You save 8000 credits!:dunce:

Plus close gear ratios.

I wonder whether there's a gearbox with adjustable ratios, though?

You make it sound like a five speed is a bad thing per se :D

Tekken I also wanted to thank you for showing the "Options Menu".

Lots of guys on the forums are still keen to understand some things...
I remembered the "In Game Manual" sometimes gives good information.

Can you look/report or show a video it if the "In Game Manual" mentions anything about:

1) Creating a lobby/session
2) LAN & Spectator Mode
3) 3DTV & Multiscreen

Notice how there is no racing flywheel? only sports and semi-racing? Well you might have to unlock the racing parts or maybe you get them in the racing mods menu in gt auto.

In one SSR7 video with the citerion concpt it has 7 gears. Did he change the transmission or did PD change it due to it being quite hard to drive with a D transmission?

So you can do more stuff to your car, but you are disappointed that the descriptions of said parts are shorter? :ouch:

Allow me to explain better.

Displacement up - Port Polishing - Engine Balance are gone.
Engine tuning basically has been reduced to a somewhat arcadey Level 1-2-3.
Stage/Level 4 modifications are gone, and so intercooler selection
Racing clutches and flywheels are no more.
Only three softness levels for racing tyres.

On the other side, air filter selection (sport and semi racing), sport intake and exhaust manifolds and sport catalyzers have been added.

I'm disappointed that modifications appear to be more generic than before, with less technicalities to appeal to a broader public. Even though after four games the descriptions got old, new users could still learn something from them.

To be honest, I was expecting more detailed engine tuning, not more generic.
I guess I was expecting too much?

Now let's wait for the parts set-up screen...

The one in the vid is the road version, with a v8 engine (correct me if I'm wrong) and a 7 speed manual transmission.

For someone that has 4k posts on this website you seem to not follow the game much, we have known for a very long time now that cars from GT PSP and Prologue were only transferred to arcade mode. Did all your posts come in the "standards vs premium" thread?

But what he wrote is that you can't transfer GT5P cars at all. Or did you not understand that part?
Plus following GTP and knowing the facts are not always related.

i still don't get why they tuned down so many things: rims why? tuning why? siena track where is? why damage is not the same from the demos but way way worse? dirt and paint falling off, where??

for me is not bad.
about tyre compound is more good this tha more kind of compound, i'm sure that in this gran turismo the tyre simulation are many many times better than previous gt..
plus the stage 4 of modification is inside gtauto...

imo that would be unlikely because racing slicks are available, and those aren't road legal either...
Yeah, you're right, it does seem unlikely.

plus the stage 4 of modification is inside gtauto...
And where exactly would it be? It certainly isn't available for the Civic in the GT Auto video. And it wouldn't make any sense to have stages one to three in the tuning shop and four in GT Auto.

If anything, I'd like to think it'll have to be unlocked by reaching a certain level.

Guys, I think you unlock all parts and tuning options by leveling up! Tekken is at Level13 , he is 10 hours in the game.

I'm sure we are in for some nice surprises :D
