I've said here before right after the last event that I wouldn't watch anymore video's of GT5. Well... I failed, I'm to weak, I couldn't resist. :guilty:

Sadly one of the videos I've watched is SSR7 video.I know it will kill me if I played it on my 42" plasma...:drool: Maybe God saved me...

I thought there were suppose to be 2 physics option and since tekken is playing arcade mode standard physics is only avaliable

I believe it's safe to say they scraped the Standard Physics Model.

We get options for how our wheel will act yes, but options like TC, ABS, etc don't change based on gamepad/wheel.
 
What are the chances of PD actually releasing the other half of GT5? I really don't mind paying extra for it, just as long as there are more upgrades, more tracks, more options!

yes, for example paying lets say... 4.99 euros and we get a set of 100 new rims... or Race mods... get my point?

The AI difficulty. Plus he was running with TC and ABS. So we could run full throttle through the corners. Even he said it was near impossible to race without the assist on with a gamepad. So I doubt difficulty doesn't anything outside of the AI.
 
AI still looks very incompatible with player's physics. They just drive their own rails and do completely different thigs.

But Nordschleife driven while sunset, this has been always my wet dream!!! I am ready to forgive absence of some beloved tracks just for this. OMG.

Wait with statements till release date :)

Even if Rufs have standarf car model without interior you can take Yellow bird on nring withpremium physic :D We like same things i see đź‘Ť

but i want more tracks. i could care less about the 1000+ cars if we only get 27 tracks with variations. i mean, it's NOT 70 tracks. the regular 'Ring, the nighttime 'Ring, the rainy 'Ring, and the snowy 'Ring, the reverse 'Ring are all the same track. they're all the 'Ring! i can't believe they're counting that as 5 tracks. that's just pathetic.

i want more tracks, nothing else. i could care less about online because you'll most likely have idiots using your car as cushion while turning a corner.

That's what the Course Maker is for. It's not as if they can create tracks quickly. Kaz said that it took them two years to make Madrid and Rome and it takes them a year to make a race track (like Suzuka, the Ring ect).

that's why they shouldve hired mroe people. only 140 employees? defend them, but in the end we will be the ones who get the short end of the stick. i don't want a randomly generated track. i want Spa. i want real-world tracks.

just look at the disappointment in this forums. if they had given us what they promised, do you really think we would complain? they showed weather on TGS, and we were all excited. but they didnt say it''ll only be available on 3 tracks? come on now.

it's one thing to add features and fixes. that's what sequels are for. making sequels should imply progression of the franchise.

but to add features, then take away other features (like tracks from GT4), seriously, that's not something i expect and want as a paying consumer.

What did they promise? Did Kaz ever say that Spa was in GT5? Nope. Did Kaz ever say that every track would have weather? Nope, in fact the day that they released the weather info the website specifically said that it wasn't for all tracks (but it is for more than 3, as you misstated). And Kaz specifically said that the dynamic weather would work on endurance race tracks (Ring and Le Mans). Just because some either ignored or didn't look for readily available facts doesn't meant that they didn't deliver what they promised.

They said 16 maximum. So expect 16 on a few track only (only 12 on the ring :( )

no, because what they always say is so vague. had they said no cockpit views for standard cars right from the start, then there wouldn't be any confusion. for the most part of 5 years, they barely gave us anything to work on, that's why we always searched for things through the internet, or through some crappy quality camera captures from PAX, E3, or whatever.

the fact that their promises are so freaking vague, does that mean we should expect the lowest denominator? geez. they all say 'we want this game to be perfect', etc. and look at the turnout. tremendous lack of features.

right from the get-go, they should've clarified everything. seriously. they have kept on dodging every question and so we thought they must've been hiding something. turns out the final product would have less features than they make it up to be.

How about you take into account GT5 was designed for a wide range of players and not to your individual specification.

Today I've read various posters stating they don't want online features, the track creator, differing track conditions and photomode.

It's bemusing how such features can be dismissed with a shrug of the shoulders yet not being able to put 'rims' on a particular car is a deal breaker.

All of Tekken's (and most of the other) videos are from arcade mode, which apparently has a cap of 12 for some reason. If the rest of the game does too... :ill:

Yea, I think everyone wants more tracks. And I'm definitely part of the camp that is disappointed in the official list, but no one should claim deception. I think that is the point SolidSnakex is trying to make.

In other words, if you got your hopes up that more tracks would be in the game, then that is your fault. And I'm not pointing fingers, because I am one of the people that refused to believe the 20/70 numbers. đź‘Ť

uhm, the heart of a racing game is the cars, tracks, and physics. that's all. i don't care about the rims whatsoever. i just want more tracks.


remember this guy who put up a track list of 70 DIFFERENT tracks, with a total of 150 variations.

turns out we get 20+ tracks, and not all of them have variations. i mean, no Hong Kong, no Seoul, no Spa, alot of tracks from GT4 are absent. i could care less about rims or photomode, because those do not give the satisfaction of driving in another track. i mean, i could only drive around the 'Ring so much before it gets boring. even if it's nighttime, snow, rain, etc. i'm still turning on the same corners, and flying through the same straightaway.


besides, there are tracks that i don't want to race on. now that gives me less options because now i have less tracks to choose from. not very flexible.
