Tekken, can you try to access Museum or any other online features and post what kind of message you get?

RDK is getting this:

Can you confirm?

Same, but game installed FW 3.50 at first start so that can't be too much old build... I still think this is final build. But who knows now... One thing is sure... its a rare copy! :D

Hello, Tekken90, !

Excuse my poor english, i'm french :-) !

I'm coming from the GT5rs french board, and every day, we follow all your videos ! Now my friends are on their knees, praying for a new video before this night !

Just one question for you : you showed us how to add parts and tune up a Premium car, but i just need you to confirm that standard cars are compatible with these modifications ? Is it possible to change exhaust or to add a turbo, or to change suspensions on a standard car ?

Thank you for your answer !

Hey, I didn't try it yet, maybe tommorow. Send me PM. ;)

New vids... maybe tommorow guys, I'm too busy today.

Teken, the museum thing that everyones up in arms about probubley uploads from PD's servers, like the Turismo TV on GT5P the wording "not available on this version" sounds odd but I suspect it's just a poor translation.

Just to make things clear about the physics: What I believe is that the option where you toggle between standard/pro physics has ben replaced with a "skid recovery force" button (or is it a slider?)

Turning this off is like playing with pro physics, and having this turned on is like playing on standard, it just gives you more grip which was basically the different between standard/pro physics.

The thing is, tekken90 hasn't told us yet if he's been driving with this skid recovery force turned on while he's been making all his videos, one can only believe so. Then ofcourse there's the other driving aids which he has turned on because he is on a pad.

Well, since they're now doing a second GT Academy competition in GT5's online mode I think we don't have to worry about the physics being dumbed down since the TT demo, but we don't know for sure yet...

The worrying thing is, he's been driving with it off! Watch the track creator video, it shows the driving options, and he had em all off, and yet it still handled like it's on rails... ABS on 1 and TC on 5, all other aids off, it looked just like GT4

yeah a game pad and in ARCADE MODE..........happy now people, he also ran with TC and ABS on arcade mode on that night ring vid from yesterday.....thus driving on the grass didn't kill him.

Same settings used on the Ring, ABS1, TC at 5, but on Pro physics, notice the difference. Demo on Arcade mode

GT4 doesnt handle like its on rails. It handles like the cars are on an oily track.

How hard can it be? Let B-spec drive, put your camera there for 5 mins and set the upload, a thing of 10 minutes.

You rarely get massive power oversteer in GT4 even on some powerful rear wheel drive cars. Standard Physics on Prologue was like that, not so on Pro physics.

If you think GT4 was an oily track then GT5:Prologue on Pro physics is even worse then :D

Same as the F1 in Prologue with all aids off. It's a high downforce car, what do you expect.

TC & ABS aren't driving aids? TC reduces wheel spin under acceleration and ABS prevents wheels from locking up on hard braking. I'm sure if TC was off, the wheels would've been spinning out in the beginning. Then if you look, he's on Racing Softs (R3s)...which have the most grip out of all the tires. And then the ASL Garaiya is a SuperGT 300 car and is already quite balanced to begin with.

Put everything together, and it's quite obvious why it handles on rails. Try driving it with TC - 0 and ABS - 0 and use Racing Hards (R1) like its original setup, then the real physics will show.

Maybe so, but GT5's physics engine is not like Prologue

I played the GT5 demo with a pad on pro physics using a SuperGT GT-R, and the car didn't feel like it was on rails. It felt planted, but you could lose it just as easily. Tekken is driving this car far harder than I did as well.

Driving with his pad, tap-tap button style should make the car unstable, not seeing it here

In the GT5 Demo, on standard physics and TC on, the Enzo was still a handful with Controller analog controls

Driving with a controller would actually make it more stable. If you had a steering wheel, force feedback would cause the wheel to jutter a bit and thus unsettle the car. The analog stick is stationary at rest.

And his car as aids on. Enzo is a different car.

Did they entirely remove the Nitrous injection from GT5? I kinda liked it in GT4. Was hoping it would be implemented in more detail this time around.

The car should still be affected by braking and weight shifts. The way he drove on the ring he should have spun out tons of times but he didn't

Szmissz has found an unboxing video of GT5, so credit to him

If this is the real thing, I can't imagine that the Signature Edition could have another backcover.

Or could it?

that guy also just put a new video up, it looks amazing! and that's arcade mode too. the dirt effects are even better than I wanted them! glad expectations were reached with someone right? :) lol

Edit lol, he went from having it up to putting it into unlisted.

yea dirt kicking up was insane, imagine on your HD with surround sound on. nice.
