If this whole Twitter Files thing is a deliberate attempt to plant further doubt in the minds of the fash faithful that their Füehrer was unfairly deposed, then Musk's night of the long knives amongst his staff would be a textbook manoeuvre to squelch unwelcome dissent. It'd be no wonder Musk appears to be actively running the platform into the ground in that case. Killing Twitter would be a win-win for the authoritarians in a sense, even if it weren't financially for ol' moneybags.

In other words, they are using Free Speech - a cornerstone of a free society - to effectively end Free Speech and ultimately end free society.
