Downright brutal and right on the money.

So now you are posting videos of tweets?

Mexico needs us, not the other way around. This is in no way the end of negotiations it's just the start, so far one up for Trump tbh.

If you want to know something that actually matters about negotiations you should see what happened between him and the U.K. PM.

As that video rolls I realize just how crap it is.

A man truly ahead of his time.

MSNBC. 'Nuff said.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/27/trump-mexican-leader-talk-by-phone-as-tensions-rise.html
President Donald Trump confirmed that he had a “very, very friendly” phone conversation with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto a day after rising tensions caused the cancellation of a meeting scheduled for next week.
During the fence-mending phone call, Trump said the two discussed building a “fair relationship,” but made clear there would be no backing down. “I have been very strong on Mexico. I have great relations with Mexico,” said Trump during Friday afternoon press conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May.

Mexican cover of Vanity Fair:ouch::

And from the Mexicans.
Regarding payment of the border wall, "both presidents recognized their clear and very public differences of opinion on this sensitive subject, and agreed to resolve their differences as part of a comprehensive discussion on all aspects of the bilateral relationship", the Mexican statement said.
In a rare news conference by the generally media-shy mogul, Slim said Mexico needed to negotiate from a position of strength, noting that Trump, who he called a "great negotiator," represented a major change in how politics will be conducted.

And here I was convinced that Trump had lost the deal, all bets were off and we were doomed.

I liked Sean's interview with the POTUS, but I think we all know the problems and dangers we face. Reminding us of those issues does not solve those issues we have already identified. I'm ready for answers and solutions.

I just watched it, might be considered softball but to me it gave Trump a chance to speak freely. I don't care so much to hear what he is going to do, I'm enjoying simply watching what he is doing.

Let's see how it goes, right now we've seen some meetings and some EO's, we've seen all sorts of resistance from the media. The results will speak volumes 👍

So he wants it to be like the UN then
I don't think that the UN was created so that America could tell other countries what to do or else face consequences.

It seems pretty obvious at this point that Trump wants America to lead the world by blunt force.

I just realized something. That mass walk out of all 4 people in the state department? They are still under investigation by a House oversight committee over Hillary's mess. If Trump fired them which I believe to be the case, he is showing class in wanting to move on.

@Scaff, does it seem a bit different to you now? It's not a big deal if it is running from Trump nor is it(which is much more likely)if running from Hillery.

He wants to lead the world by example, not blunt force. Attend to your own interests, and stay out of the affairs of others.

Attend top y0ur own interests, and stay out of the affairs of others
Really? Because when his representative to the UN goes around threatening otber countries with sanctions, it amounts to "attend to your own interests, but only if they are favourable to us". Nothing that Trump has done is leading by example, unless he's trying to be an example of a cautionary tale.

Well, perhaps you're a bit overwrought with all your recent negative postings, and I'm willing to give you a big benefit of the doubt and lot of time to work out your anxieties, just for old times sake. We've got a lot of time, my friend.

who would like to have their gravy train coming to a halt?
That's not Trump's decision to make. He is the leader of the United States, and has no authority over the rest of the world. We should not be forced into making decisions that are bad for us - or at least less than ideal - because our preferred course of action is bad for the United States.

Look at it like this: if there is conflict between the United States and China over the South China Sea, Australia will be in a position where we are forced to decide who we support. Why should we be forced into a conflict when we would prefer to remain neutral? What right does Trump have to make a decision that is very bad for a sovereign nation that he has no authority over?

Get out the way!

Let's be serious here for a second then, do you actually fear that trump is going to start a war with China? Ok that is enough of that serious stuff.

Do whatever you want Australia, I'm sure it will be fine, it's amazing to me why so many people are afraid of a country's leader thinking of his country first. Isn't that what he is supposed to do?

do you actually fear that trump is going to start a war with China?
Not intentionally. But I have seen plenty of analysts who think that the most likely scenario for a conflict to emerge is that both Washington and Beijing will continue down the same path, stubbornly refusing to back down until they reach the point where they can't back down.

Isn't that what he is supposed to do?
Not when his way of thinking of his country first means forcing everyone else to be second.

Sorry, I don't know why some people can't see Facebook posts/live videos. I see it and I assume others see it.

Happening Now: President Donald J. Trump holds a joint press conference with UK Prime Minister Theresa May at The White House.
I don't know where to look for the whole conference unedited and I can't find it on Fox News site. That is the one thing I like about the live videos, you see the whole thing.
I brought this up in site support and I guess Jordan forgot or has no control over it.

I'd like to see that please.

Too bad, I'm still not seeing the problem. You act as if it means screwing everyone else over failing to realize that that in itself is not in our best interest.
