A mourning family doesn’t want to meet him. Leaders of his own party declined to join him. The mayor has explicitly asked him not to come. Protesters have mobilized. And yet President Trump visited this grief-stricken city Tuesday, amid accusations that he and his administration continue to fuel the anti-Semitism that inspired Saturday’s massacre inside a synagogue.

Shooting victims family does not want to meet Trump

Muslim groups raise over 200 thousand for victims family .
Trump shows up when asked not to by victims family.

My personal opinion is Trump showing up there is like Hitler showing up at the westwall to mourn jews who he put into ovens through his minions .

Trump is a fast ally with Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu. Many, maybe most Jews voted for him. He has deep ties in the Jewish community and within his own family. He can't not show support for Jews at the hour of the greatest atrocity committed against them. Though he carried Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh and its mayor have different leanings. Protesters and media are gonna protest and hyperventilate, as usual. Here Trump is doing the right thing, and is above reproach. Invective should be saved for when he does the wrong thing, which is often enough.

There is bad comparisons, then there is this.

So one family of one person who died doesn't represent everyone at the synagogue, he was welcomed there by the Rabbi, his daughter is Jewish and so is his Son in law, it's not exactly uncommon for a president to pay their tributes in a disaster such as this.

Not everything is political, it's absurd to think it is.

The mayor is a Democrat do you honestly think it isn't political reasons why he says he isn't welcome, Trump is going to get protests where ever he goes because that is what happens when your a Leader with strong opinions.

Outrage culture, always looking for a finger to point at.

Yes well there is a saying , those who forget history are doomed to repeat it .

A study of how rhetoric in the extreme works .

On Memorial Day in 1927, the Ku Klux Klanmarched in Queens to protest Protestant American citizens being "assaulted by Roman Catholic police of New York City."[13] Fred was arrested "on a charge of refusing to disperse from a parade when ordered to do so," and the only one of seven men dismissed without charges.[14][15] All seven arrested were referred to as "berobed marchers" in the Long Island Daily Press. A Vice article noted that if any of the attendees weren't "dressed in a robe at the time, that may have been a reporting error worth correcting."[14] When asked about the issue in September 2015, Donald Trump, then a candidate for President of the United States, denied that his father had ever been arrested.[13][16]

There is another saying that goes when people show you who they are ,believe them .

Mr Trump has shown the world many times who he is . Most of us believe him .

A Republican candidate for the state senate in Connecticut is being criticized over a mailer that depicts a Jewish Democrat looking wide-eyed and clutching money.

The GOP is telling us who they are .

So very loose connections with someone that isn't Donald linking them to the KKK 20 years before he was born, is evidence that Trump is an Anti-Semite, and 1 candidate who isn't even the incumbent represents the entire GOP.

Trump must really hate his Daughter and son in Law.

Straws be clutched soo hard they are not exactly straws at this point.

Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals:

5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon."
9. "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."
11. "If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside"

You ignore Trump telling you he is at your own risk . Thankfully America it seems has clued in to what Trump is telling them .

The men, all part of the Rise Above Movement, or RAM, according to a criminal complaint, who flew from California to Virginia to take part in the rally, "assaulted an African-American man, two females and a minister wearing a clerical collar," among others, said the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia, Thomas T. Cullen.

President Trump defended the white nationalists who protested in Charlottesville on Tuesday, saying they included “some very fine people,” while expressing sympathy for their demonstration against the removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. It was a strikingly different message from the prepared statement he had delivered on Monday, and a reversion to his initial response over the weekend.

He keeps telling us who he is ,are we listening ?

Not all of those people were neo-Nazis,” Trump asserted. “Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch. ... You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people—on both sides.”

As a factual matter, Trump’s statement is dubious: The event was openly organized by white supremacists, so it is unlikely that many “fine people” were at the rally. His latest remarks have only validated the suspicion that Trump sees white supremacists as a crucial part of his political alliance and that he is loath to alienate them. And the country’s racists like what they’re hearing:

Trump is Hitler despite the gunman being not liking or voting for Trump because he surrounds himself with Jews. Trump is also Hitler after he moves a US embassy to Israel and recognizes Jerusalem as its capital.

Worst Hitler ever.

Just FYI I think maybe it's time for an avatar (37k posts seems like enough). At first I confused your post (quoted here) for the guy with 19 posts who is going on and on about Nazis.

"Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans," Trump said at the White House.
So in other words... Trump is a criminal and a thug.

Vox mostly liberal, that's a funny joke, identity politics is their primary game.

They argue the opposite of reality, the left in America has moved soo far left where as republicans are starting to get moderate liberals(and the polling has shown massive strides since 2016 which likely is a result of Bernie Sanders treatment in the DNC Primary, people will not forget that one in a rush).View attachment 777004
Pew research data has done extensive polling on this since 1994, simply looking at presidents elected doesn't exactly give you an idea of where the average person is politically.

https://www.google.com/amp/www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/10/23/in-polarized-era-fewer-americans-hold-a-mix-of-conservative-and-liberal-views/?amp=1

The data you posted are polling the political ideology among general public. According to the chart, republicans are actually more moderate then before. However congress does not reflect this at all and prove to be more conservative then the median among the survey. This is not the data Vox was using though. Vox uses data concerning political ideology of congress in office. Hopefully you understand the difference.

The argument Vox is arguing about is about political ideology among republicans in congress (the people who run the country) has been shifting more to the right. It does not argue that the general republicans are shifting more to the right.
Your source does actually confirm that the government is not representative of the people and in hands of representatives that lean far more left or right then the american people actually think. Thats why I have always criticised the 2 party system. You have to take you report put it next to the voteview data:

https://voteview.com/parties/all
https://voteview.com/congress/house
https://voteview.com/congress/senate

and confirmed in another source:
https://www.brookings.edu/interactives/average-ideology-of-the-house-and-senate-1947-2014/

Theories that I have about the difference between public political ideology and congress political ideology:
- A lot of moderates (right/left) voted Trump, because they didnt want to vote on hillary
- gerrymandering
- voter supression

"Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans," Trump said at the White House.

Yet the "press are the enemy of the people". Think about that statement. Not crime, foreign countries, drugs illegal immigrants but the press are the enemy of the people. That statement carries a lot of weight. What does that do to an unstable mind that is devoted to the current President.

In context Trump only made that statement under large pressure after blaming both sides after the death during a nationalis rally and protest. And apparantly alt right still very much support Trump especially after proclaiming he is a Nationalist.

Edit: added response to Trumps "denouncement"

So if the dems take back the house which even fox news is now saying will happen , will they go for impeachment ?

Or will they focus on stopping Trumps agenda till 2020?

I hope not. Going for impeachment without evidence or indictment only would devide the country even more. If the democrats control the house, they can do exactly what the republicans did to Obama. And just ride it out till 2020 and hopefully they will appoint a better democratic candidate. If mueller's report does lead to evidence of treason, then they should impeach him asap.

Trump isnt a total idiot. He was a democrat before. I wouldnt be surprised if whe flip flops to the left. Especially if the media starts "praising" him. That is what he is ultimately looking for. He didnt become president for the american people, he just became President to hear praise from people how great he is.

I don't think anyone here is under the illusion that Trump isn't massively flawed as a human being and as a leader. That doesn't make him Adolph Hitler reincarnated.

This^, so this^

I mean I don't like the guy either but come on, enough with the drama queen, diva hyperbole Hitler stuff. Trump isn't trying to nationalize businesses and corporations. Though he has been critical of the press, he isn't trying to limit free speech. But let's look at who is trying to do those things, Democrats (nationalized healthcare, Medicaid for all) and the Antifa (trying to quell free speech on college campuses and elsewhere), whom are nothing more than modern day brown shirts out in force.

*cough*

U.S. District Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald in Manhattan handed down the ruling Wednesday in response to a lawsuit brought by the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University last July on behalf of seven Twitter users who were blocked by Trump after replying unfavorably to his tweets.

Buchwald said that their inability to reply to Trump's tweets after being blocked amounted to a violation of their 1st Amendment rights. She disagreed with the government's assertion that the blocked Twitter users' right to free speech does not apply in this case because Trump was acting as a private individual through his @realDonaldTrump account.

Personally I do agree he is not Hitler reincarnated. But he does have a lot of similarities with totalitarian dictators.
Which worldleaders current and from the past have vilified the press and certain minorities as the current president of the USA has? He is limiting the free press by doing anything he can by labeling them as fake news and proclaimed them the enemy of the people. And which former worldleaders have proclaimed to be a nationalist?

@PocketZeven

Being critical of the press is not limiting them in any way, shape, or form. Has CNN, the NYT, and ABC stopped reporting negative stories about Trump? Of course they haven't. In fact, if anything Trump emboldened them even more.
