Depends on your control of the car in the wet. I think if you get the hang of it, there is more room for error.

Thanks to everyone's help!
Quick question, how hard is Sector 4 in the Wet.
As hard as the Beginner one?

Wet is epic fail.. In my opinion, much much harder that dry. Use twice the amount of inside curb you normally would - that's the only tip I have. The SLS is, again, in my opinion, easier in the wet than the 300...

Okay, thanks.
I've seen Youtube videos of people beating the full wet time by over 30 seconds!

The key of getting golds in 90% of the test/challenge is late braking in my opinion. The first few try is always intention crashing to find the LAST POSSIBLE brake point, once I find it, getting gold is pretty damn easy. the difference between really late braking compare to the game's default racing line brake point can be as much as 2 seconds per corner While perfect racing line is only sub zero difference.

In the rain is much easier, i was 17 and 19 sec. faster for gold...

The beginner and amateur full lap i still have to get gold....

tips for the rain, in the 300 i turned everything of except Abs on 3
In the SLS i had abs and TC on 6

How about the individual sectors?

How about the individual sectors?

Golded them all on the first try, except, the 4th sector in the SLS.. with the same settings.
I found out that the first 5 or 6 corners is where the time is, not at the end, so focus on the first part of the sector...

I had them all with seconds to spare, while on the dry events i had them with milliseconds..

So Sector 4 in the dry was much harder?

Everything in the dry is much harder! It took me no time at all to get to gold in the rain, but the full laps dry i still need to gold...

SUCCESS!!!!!
I used a lot more kerb, especially on the run up to the straight.
2:28.960!!!
Loads of time in hand!
I then attempted the Intermediate, Sector 4 and that was much much easier.
I made a massive mistake on the last chicane and still got Gold by over a second.
My run before I got Gold in Beginner, Sector 4, my time was 2:30.009.

Well played. Knew you would get it in the end.

I found the rain ones a similar difficultly as the dry ones, but you have the advantage of previous experience know:)

Your video helped me, the one with commentary.
I ended up going faster than you :D
I didn't realise I could take so much kerb in the corner before the straight.
