actual[/I] steering wheels.
There are many PC sim racers with GT-Logitech wheels, back then they were best wheels for the money, all they had to do is get decent pedals.
In general, It wont matter to me that I drive a Ferrari with Porsche name in it. Hey Fanatec had to do something and get their name out there.. Look at them now, they sould out RS wheels, and who knows what else is sold out. Seems they are doing better and better.
For example, Thrustmasters are making wheels with Ferrari Badge. they Also have made Their own Thrustmaster Logo wheel. But somehow more people know about the Ferrari wheel then their own logo wheel. One reason, because of the Ferrari logo, other reason, because maybe their wheels are not as Hardcore as the G25 or the Fanatec wheels? Same with LOGITECH, who would of continue buying wheels from the people that make MICES, Keyborads, speakers? If it was not for GT logo, I would never buy it.
You always have to make 1st good impression for new companies, and seems collaboration is best way to go. I am also happy that Fanatec will make other brand car logos on their wheels as well their own logo. (Mercedes PLEASE!!!)
Besides I wont mind a bit to drive the GT3 RS wheel. For me it screams quality and race-history and sportiness. And I love how the wheel resembles a real life car over competition like the DF-GT and G25, so it will feel right at home. I may never own a Porsche in my whole life (maybe) but this will just motivate my dreams bit more.
Hey Fanatec, Me personally, once you guys do your own designed wheel with your own Fanatec logo, I hope you make it looks like it was an after market wheel. I would hate to see Buttons like on the DF-GT because it just makes it look more toyish.
