I did not know Laurence Fishburne is Goliath. Wasn't Goliath killed in Civil War(comic version)? Will be interesting how this all connects to the past(Stark, Agent Carter, SHIELD). I read there are KGB involved.

The Ghost character, is also interesting.

Balls, I got really excited thinking this was a new trailer — and wondered why it wouldn't have been attached to Infinity War. :P

Did we really not have a thread for it? Strange to think it's only two months away. Should be interesting for its fill-in-the-blanks nature, and it'll likely make the wait until Captain Marvel in March that much longer...

I'm five days away from seeing IW. Do either of these trailers spoil anything in IW?

Nothing. This movie — like just about all of Phase 3, come to think of it — takes place shortly after Civil War. You're safe. 👍

Funny movie. Similar to the first in its style. Stay for the end credits. I only stayed for the first one.

Edit:
So, seeing she's come back a different person, as well as gaining powers. I wonder if she's done a "Quantum Leap" and resurfaced in a new body or she's now become a mutant.

I hope that trend would stop at some point. Not into football and I like movies... The last weekend cinemas were a ghost town apparently. England were playing but I think over the last month the cinema attendance figures have likely been more affected by the weather than WC .....

Can't wait to see Ant-Man. It's a shame that some reviews have said the "and the Wasp" part of the film isn't that big.... That's not a pun BTW ;-)

Don't know what those reviewers expected. She did her thing in the movie(also she's one beautiful woman).
To fit in everything that went on, she had big enough scenes.

As a Marvel fan and not a footie fan, it seems silly to me too but I guess theatre owners want to maximise profits. No doubt England fans will want a little escapist fantasy and humour at this sad time of the year.

Released in the UK today, overall a really enjoyable film.

After the events of Age of Ultron, I thought the first Ant-Man was a nice end to Phase 2 but it didn’t have a necessary tie in to the MCU.

After the events of Infinity War, the sequel is a fantastic tie in to the MCU.

What’s going to happen to Scott now he’s trapped in the quantum realm? Is he going to stumble upon the soul realm? Is Janet going to use some new powers to pull them out or are the OG avengers going to save the day in IW:Part2.

Didn’t really enjoy Ghost, I get that she wasn’t a “villain” as such, but when she started to lose her trust in Goliath why didn’t Hank or Scott say “Listen don’t fudge this up we’re gonna get Janet she can help you”

I saw it on Tuesday. I thought "It's the fourth week of release, it's Tuesday, it's 1240 in the afternoon, there won't be anyone there." I was wrong. The only seats left were first row, far right. The worst seats in the theater. At least leaning the seats all the way back helped. It really didn't matter once the movie started, though, as I got swept up in it right away.

I thought it was great fun, fast-paced but not frantic. One of my favorite additions to the cast was Randall Park as FBI Agent Jimmie Woo. It was a nice mix of competent and clueless. I hope he makes it back in the next movie. The mid-credit sequence caught me by surprise. I forgot this happened just prior to Infinity War, so I wasn't expecting that ending. My hope is that both Bill Foster and Ava Starr are still alive, they bring Scott out of the Quantum Realm and all three are forced to work together in next year's Avengers movie.

@Populuxe Cowboy

I honestly don’t think there will be time for that, Avengers 4 I’m pretty sure will thrust us into the action straight away, they won’t have time to do science scenes beyond the ones we already know are going to happen. (Which I’ll not spoil for you incase you’re leaving yourself completely unknown going into A4)

I enjoyed myself but did anyone think it was a bit kinda lazy? Like action scene one. They go there to get "the component", even the arms dealer calls it "the component". I mean, really? Couldn't somebody have thought of a name? The quantum resistor? A 3000kw neutron diode? The maguffinator 8000? Gruntmaster 6000?

Everything was just alright.... I felt some of the super small shots like the windscreen wiper may have looked better in slomo. But that's splitting hairs.... Definite 3/5 from me, I liked it I'd watch it again.

I really did like that the whole conflict between heroes and villains could have been resolved if they had just asked nicely.... Similar to the film Free Fire where throughout the duration any of the characters could have just wandered away.....
