Your losing sleep over a demo that only has 2 cars and a section of a track? Wonder what you would be like when the full GT5 releases!

Er, no... Losing sleep over a game - clearly you still live with your parents and have everything provided for.

Glad I moved out of my parents house 14 years ago. I now live alone and have a beautiful wee cavalier king charles puppy to keep me company.

Loosing sleep....NO. I live in America and have come to terms with the fact that we (Americans) are going to be the last to get to play the new demo and the last to get the full game. I know it is way early but I went down to the local game store and pre-ordered GT5 yesterday, I got a great laugh when the store clerk told me that the release was recently moved to early February. I Told him that I was a member of :gtplanet: and that it was not going to be released in the US until early summer. He seemed shocked and told me that his source is very reliable and is seldom wrong. I chuckled again and told him that this time "his source" was definately wrong. He was upset that a customer off the street knew more than him about a release of a video game.

 i had a similar story... then the store man told me once that i should buy NFS and DIRT2 because these games were really above GT5.. that GT5 is no longer the reference on racing games.. i told him: forget it.. you wont sell your fish to me :D

and no.. im not losing my sleep! just thinking about it during the day and dreaming about it during the night :banghead:

losing sleep? over a game? only if it's a good simulator or RPG. We haven't seen or played this yet, thus, no need to lose sleep over it yet.

Sigmund Freud would say that if you arent dreaming it, then you dont really want it.

Don't lose sleep, or else you can't dream- the most powerful, insightful and least ambiguous way of thinking. Everything you think about while sleeping has meaning, believe it or not, it is true.

May Gran Turismo be in your dreams, and have a good night.

(thread ending post right there baby!)

Anybody who loses sleep over a game release either has no life, or lives with their parents.

I don’t think anyone is genuinely losing sleep over the demo being released, but we’re all Videogame and specifically GT fans here, I think we’re looking forward to getting our hands on the demo.

Damn, Imagine how he would be if GT5 came out in 3 days, Next thing you know the 3 days have passed, and GT was Pushed back 10 more days. ...i could just see the thread now.

I didn't say people were losing sleep, I merely commented on it. Besides, what demo are you talking about? SONY said it's not a demo, nor is it reflective of GT5.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to call it a Demo of GT5, as with all demos, they're not reflective of the final game.

Why would you not?

Don't ask me, ask SONY - they are the ones who initiated damage control in response to it.

I'm really excited to see the new physics engine but I won't loose sleep over it as there's only 2 car for me to drive.

Impressive! The same happened when I bought Prologue, I've said: "I wan gt5 prologue please." and he said "Why? It has only five tracks, you may want NFS shift." .... this is a real fact, not a joke, I'm wondering if Microsoft is paying money to stores who are fearless enough to sell Shift.....

BTW: I bet that every american here who complain about being the last ones to get the game, will buy the japanese version as soon as the reviews and videos explode on the internet. No one will be able to resist GT5 even if it is in japanese! :)

Anyone losing sleep between now and Thursday just doesn't have other things on their mind right now.

For example, i have done all my christmas shopping, the house is tidy, i've got plans from the 18th onwards, but nothing before. I do still live with my mam, but its not completely unusual for a 19 year old. Its not like i'm a kid or anything, i practically run the household except for sorting out bills and such, for that i pay rent

I'm not losing sleep because i get up so early in the morning that as soon as i get in bed on a night its instant sleep, but i am quite excited about this demo anyway.

Damn right, any fan of GT should be. No matter what their lifestyle and/or living arrangements may be

I don't know I'm a GT fan (why would I be here if I wasn't) and I honestly could not careless about the "demo" or whatever it is. I'll get excited if the game ever decides to be released.

So stoked! GT is one of the only reasons I even have a PS3. The thought of possibly winning a tangible prize from a video game also makes this exciting.

Being quite excited is one thing  Losing sleep is another

Jay
It's a Time Trial competition..
Exactly. A few people have seem to have neglected the fact that this is specifically designed as a GT Academy "application form", hence the lack of bells and whistles you often get from a demo.

Excitement can lead to loss of sleep, very easily.

Plus the fact a lot of people are looking forward to GT academy more than the demo itself. Anyone who is a serious contender for that could lose sleep over it.

Given that I have just posted after you, I'd suggest you were wrong there.
You are wrong.

It is a demo. Sony says it is a demo. On the Gran Turismo website it is called a demo. GT5 cars, tracks and physics, thus, it is reflective of GT5.

You should think for yourself. Step out of the box, man!
