It will give them time to address the online bumpercars with a punishment patch and the single player campaign is the definition of easy.
I hope they fix the connection issues...
Me and a friend suddenly the last couple days are getting "DNF" on each other when we finish a race... Everything has been fine until now.
And its only every now and then. And neither of us are disconnected or anything.
I'm thinking that may have to do with the new dashboard coming out soon. Always have weird issues when they're about to release a new dashboard.
Hmm if so, the new dashbord better be worth it
So am I the only one living in hope of seeing some sort of patch soon? I'm really hoping for the Fanatec 900' problem to get fixed as well as the American muscle PI rating issue. (Other than those I'm pretty happy)
I can agree that the DART and superbee have strange PI but all the others?
Does the OP mean that he's no longer playing until a patch is forth coming.
If so then no I'm not waiting for a patch.

Yeah, hopefully. I'm not really sure what could be fixed though. I know of some 900° steering issues, the audio glitch with game installed (lol lots of games are glitchy when played installed nowadays), some PI issues, and of course lots of cockpit errors/inaccuracies, but I doubt those will be fixed. It's obvious to me that the patch coming is going to address more than just the steering wheels. They probably have a lot more in the patch than just that.
Maybe Turn10 are just mourning over their ridiculous sales. And that's no lol 🤬
I'm comparing it to its most direct competitor (which Shift 2 is not). And I bet Turn10 really want to cry.
lol. They were all great NFL players at different times in history (Singletary and Rice did play at the same time for a period though) for different teams. While I have no clue who Johnny Unitas, Jerry Rice or Mike Singletary real world equivalents are or what they do I get what you are saying t.o.
EA have already tried this in this genre with P word. If I were them I'd be looking at their sales in comparison to T10's and PD's along the the public reaction to 'porsche gate' and wondering if it was really worth the cash and effort. That tactic won't really work in the genre for any of the developers. Trying to buy out 100's of licenses could get expensive to the point where you are not breaking even or making huge losses. It only works here with entire series' like F1, Nascar or WRC for example. None of which are essential to 'Car collector games'.
Of course. And the fact that they still aren't must really make them want to cry. They've never remotely been in the same ballpark as GT (I assume this is what you mean).

I hear what you're saying but you wouldn't have to buy hundreds of licenses. Just imagine if someone bought out Chevy, Ford, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes and Nissan. The other guy would be ROYALLY screwed. Even though there are plenty of others out there those big nine would be enough to screw another game. Would you really want to buy a GT or Forza with those manufacturers missing?
