Anyone ever see an XJ220 in person?

I've seen 2 but none out in the wild.

Haynes Motor Museum has one, as does the museum in Beaulieu.

I saw one about 8 years ago on the road. On it's way into Newcastle for a local motorshow - I was surprised it wasn't trailered to the event.

Also saw one at the NEC Motorshow but no the original show car as others saw but the production version(?). It must have been 1991-2ish.

I was just at Oulton Park for the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) meetings today and I was walking through the paddock between races and guess what I saw?

One of the five Jaguar XJ220S cars!!! I regret not taking a camera to take a photo, but it was the exact one pictured above, in yellow.

Actually, this has been a pretty awesome Jaguar day, seeing a couple of Jaguar's racing in the classic touring cars, then seeing at least 3 brand new XK Coupe's and one XK soft top and then the new XF as well as that baby^.
On top of all that, I had the news of passing my first year at university when I got home, what a brilliant day!

I've seen a dark blue one at a Rolls dealer in Newport Beach. It wasnt for sale though, only on display. They also had the only Spyker i have ever seen. My friend showed me a picture of a red XJ220S at a meuseum he went to.

There was one at a local car show on Sunday. This one had done 156 miles from new. The milage shot was a bit rubbish because it was on the end of my arm and I was starting to shake - not because of the car, but because I hadn't had any breakfast.

There was one for sale in a then-Mercedes dealership in Edinburgh about 6 years ago. Delivery mileage, left-hooker. From memory they wanted an even 200 for it.

I was overtaken by one in the dead of night on the M6. About 4am, in 1992. There was me, some trucks, and this thing doing a bajillion miles an hour. Seriously, I saw it in my mirror as lights on the horizon, then it passed me, then it was gone. Recognised it from the rear lights.
