Anyone here thought GT5 could be more like a flight sim?

Ahahahah maybe not all that Flight Sim accuracy, but a Kill Engine\Starter\Ignition function would be nice(you cant pit in without shutting down the car), sometimes i just like to hear a car boot up, that savage first rev.

Also wiper function if there is weather, and of course headlight control.

That should be part of the GT mode pit rules too.Or run the risk of a catastrophe.

If they don't have a real radio with real live radio stations(I mean local ones, not satellite ones as not all cars have it) I won't buy GT5.

[/sarcasm]

And lose time cause youre in panic mode cause you cant find the Kill button!
Based on a true story, coming to a theatre near you.

Maybe when we do that, the driver will actually plug in his virtual IPOD. That's what I'd call ultimate driving sim.👍

Question is, will the ishod's weight be considered and if so will its position affect the cars balance?

If it does we better be able to adjust it.

Ipod positioning L____=___________________R

Also, I better be able to see what song is playing on both the ipod and the radio display.

We should be able to turn on Cruise Control, but I bet some lady would wreck her car thinking that cruise control is autopilot and then sue PD... haha

I was thinking something more like this for a GT5 cockpit to simulate motion. But with a wheel instead of a flight stick

No NO wait, i demand ONstar navigation with the icy female voice guiding me around Suzuka!

No no wait i want rearview mirrors that are electronically adjustable(and they said the 6 extra buttons on the g27 were useless!)

And automatic windows, and real bird droppings and more bananas ont he track like mario kart, and hydraulics so ican make my cars HOP! That is adding another dimension to the game right there!.

Next we have Cappuccinos with LS2s. Then on to classic Fiat 500s with F-22 engines.

But, I don't think it's a good idea for the whole "Use every button and sometimes combinations of buttons" idea. Too much clutter.

Yeah, have you able to tune in to the local radio stations depending where your driving.

Cool...NOT

(my Toyota 7 has a radio O.O)

We need horn, GPS, airbags, speed radar, telephone, lighter, Wi-Fi, cash, speeding ticket, energy drink, and some donuts in a F2007.

What next? :odd:

I want the cupholders to accurately simulate my driver's taste for root beer, Red Bull, and Jägermeister.

All those other frills of window control/AC control/convertible tops/power door locks and such are good and all, but I WANT ACCURATE CUPHOLDER SIMULATION ACTION!

Just give me a free 12-pack of Red Bull for the enduros and I'll be happy.

- lights
- windscreen wipers
- convertible roof

Those should be in the game. Everyone has a few buttons left on their controller or wheel for those and the game could even allow input from a second controller. Or even a keyboard. PS3 supports mouse & keyboard out of the box, it's up to developers to use them in game.

yeah i think thats ok...

but convertible cars have poor handling...

May i just remind you that the lotus elise and porsche boxter and ferrari F430 spider are among the best handling cars in the world and are convertibles!!

Turn Signals and Highbeam would be nice, and actually make sense.
e.g. Signal right = i'm gonna let you pass
Flash highbeams or signal left = I'm faster, let me pass (just like on the autobahn :D)

Lets put some dice and an air freshener in the window too.

Maybe a button to take a sip of our drink, and this makes your view more focused on the road.

just watched one of the interview video of KY on GTTV and he said GT5 probably only 15-20% of his vision of the perfect sim, wow. Maybe when he get to 100%, we would be able to do almost everything that we can now in the real car (by voice control maybe, i doubt there's a controller with enough buttons)
