Anyone like GTO?

I think it's selling bad because it doesn't stand out.
The F bodies stood out, The Mustang stands out, hell even the Vibe and Aztek stood out, but of all the cars to name the GTO they name the most mundane and simplistic looking car in their fleet.
Makes no sense.

Yes, the F-bodies did stand out. And look where it got them.

I dont care for the body at all. Looks like a modified Grand Prix. Especially from the front. The rear is ok. There was one for sale down from my local car dealer and I just didnt like it. The drivetrain is excellent and thats about all I like. Otherwise they should have never put the GTO tag on that car at all.
I would rather have a 2005 Mustang any day. 👍

Exactly. I do want a used '05 GTO, if I get one next summer I will import the front and rear portions to make it a Monaro...that GTO front end just doesn't cut it.

The "new" GTO while sophisticated can't really be a GTO because it's not an American built car. GM should of just brought it out as a Pontiac Monaro and it would of sold thousands more. It's a really really good car. I wish GM would bring the Commodore among other Aussie cars...they seem to be put together slightly better than the vehicles we get here.

It's worth it to me to get a GTO. I hate the look of the Mustang's interior not to mention since the GTO is built in smaller numbers the resale value might be higher for a while.

GM was going to export our Holden Caprice over to the US as a Buick aswell as the Monaro/GTO but the US workers unions were jumping up and down too much about stealing US jobs, even the GTO was limited to the amount allowed to import to the US every year, so you guys have no hopes of getting anything else from us unless you guys make our cars in the US.

I for one WANT Aussie cars...but made IN Austrailia. Screw the USA unions...they suck ****...money grubbing bastards.

I really want cool cars--the cars domestic mostly look hideous. I was excited about the GTO being a Holden and maybe more coming...but I guess it won't.

The only Re-Vamped American car I like is the mustang. I think the Vette C6 ruined the vette, and the GTO looks like any other Pontiac.
