Got it for cheap few days ago, and cruising is just addicting. Have more fun with it then i had, with any other open world driving game. Physics are not so bad when you are getting used to them. But i got a problem i bought DLC ( Ferrari 599XX ) And its not showing up anywhere not in used car dealer in online/offline or at Ferrari dealer.. Anyone knows how it shows up? :/ Add me on PSN if ur up for some cruising :)

DLC Cars are at some specific dealers.
EX. Ferrari 599XX is only avaliable at Ferrari (West Dealer)

I'm not really sure which Ferrari dealer it is at though. But it's just an example.👍

Thanks a lot! Found the dealer now.. But still its about 2 milion, strange that you don't have acces to it straight away.

For the first-ever time, I bought and utilized some downloadable content. I got myself the Ducati Desmosedici RR from the PlayStation Store and then eventually picked it up at the Road Bikes showroom in Hawaii. It's fun to race a motorcycle in TDU2. It isn't Tourist Trophy as far as motorcycle riding is concerned, but I do enjoy two-wheel excitement in this game. I'm only going to use the Desmosedici RR. I love Ducati, and I'm not really a cruiser person (meaning I won't be touching the Harley-Davidson).

I'm a big fan of Ducati as well but I sold the damn game 2 days before they announced the new DLC's :'(

My girlfriend loved the first one (finished all events and whatnot) but found the customization options limiting and was all over TDU2 as soon as she did some quick research (being a huge fan of the Sims). So yesterday, she finally found it in the used section and bought it for the XBOX 360.

Having played TDU2 before, my single biggest gripe with the game is still the horrid physics. I did however find the bonnet view making it somewhat bearable this time around. The cheesy storyline and characters are tolerable, but they should've really listened to the community during the BETA phase regarding the physics.

Might give it a go sometime in the near future, although I do not have Live.

I just got back into playing this after quite a long stint of GT5. It is an enjoyable arcade game, and I'll be playing it a lot more now that I'm farther in the game

You were able to get the DLC cars for free at the used dealer (like prize cars), but one of the update patches (I believe for the bike pack) changed it so you had to purchase them with in-game money.

Bought it, played for a day.
Haven't touched it since.
are the phyics better now (more TDU1 like)?

I have played the original Test Drive Unlimited on PS2 and funningly enough, I remember why I liked so much. The cars had distinct handling and in 2 they have certainly been improved dramatically. Since you can now drive the car WITH some traction and some stability control, all of the cars still have distinct feel to them and a bit more. It is properly realistic.

Picked this up again for the 360...where's DLC2? Do I have to buy the cars separately?

EDIT: Figured it out. DLC2 is actually Mandatory Update 3. Or at least that comes with the new clothes shops and everything. And the Exploration Pack is Mandatory Update 2.

Now that I am getting into the PS3, I may try this. I have it for PC but have hardly turned a wheel as there is NO feel whatsoever for a wheel. TDU1 was a blast and TDU2 was a huge let down as it didn't work with my G-25 and won't work with my DFGT I have now.

And so, I may just see about getting a PS3 copy and seeing if it's any better.

I play with the controller and still have fun just cruising. That's the fun part of TDU is just cruising. If TDU3 had some way of earning money that didn't involve a stupid storyline, I'd be fine with it. If they focused on maybe a slightly better driving model, wheel support and better graphics, you have an even better game. But, even without that, it's fun just to cruise. In my opinion, TDU2 is still better than Horizon. Horizon I beat really quickly and then, there was nothing to do, and the map was small enough to where cruising wasn't all that fun. TDU had a thousand miles of Hawaii and TDU2 added more area to explore with Ibiza and more roads in Ohau.

In fact, all they really have to do cut everything but the delivery missions and online stuff. Leaving in the ability to customize your character and houses (adding more to the character customization would be nice. And no more pointless winter clothes. I know, if you're in Hawaii 60 is cold, but, there's still no need for winter clothing.) Seriously, the delivery missions are the best part and the quickest way to earn money, so, just have the player be a delivery driver who delivers cars, people whatever to their destinations.

Horizon, while not as large as TDU is, still miles better for me. I can grab the wheel and just drive, with friends or without. I still have many gripes with Horizon, but just for the feel of driving, its superb. I have four close friends that each have a wheel, and Horizon has been the best video game experience we've ever had. Sure, we've played better games and better sims, but I can definitely say there is no game like it for wheel users.

I'm anxiously awaiting the rumored game from the ex eden guys at Ivory tower though.

If I used a DS3 only however, TDU would get the nod easily.

Agree. Although I am still cruising with my friend in TDU2 every night, but in my opinion, I still prefer Horizon rather than TDU2, Of course Horizon has some disadvantages compare to TDU2 (such as small map), but the driving experience and physics in Horizon is another world compare with TDU2.

Still playing here (360), had an epic weekend. I finished up the police chases with some friends and finally earned the Police Viper. I also scored a level 2 tuned Ferrari California (Burgandy with burgandy interior) and a level 2 tuned 308 Quattro valve, (Red with black interior) from the UCD in a single night!

I noticed the servers were busy still, there is a lot of people still playing this game. The casino is packed too.

On a side note, I haven't touched Horizon in awhile. I still need to finish up the rally expansion and the game. I sort of lost interest for awhile because of the small map and virtually no offroad exploration except the dirt trails. But, I plan on getting back to it sometime soon I at least want to 100% finish the game. If I had to choose one over the other I would glady take TDU2. Horizon is ok but the map needs a lot of work.
Yup I still play TDU2 almost every single weekend (360). Had some great times lately with the cop chases and the poker tournaments. The cop chases still have some disconnect issues but usually works quite well. Much better than when it launched. I also prefer TDU2 over Horizon by a longshot. Horizons small map killed that game. Horizon is less than 1/10 the size of TDU2. There is also just so much more to do in TDU2 by a longshot.

I started a new game a week ago and just got done uncovering all roads in Ibiza again. Now that the annoying part is done (for now) I can use my new CSR Elite wheel for the races and missions. I'll probably pick up a PSN card next week for the DLC.

I may or may not pick this up, I had it with the casino then well I kinda just sold it for a different game (due to the rammers and other random glitchy areas) Was hoping they fixed a few things but I don't see it did.

Still play it!..awesome open real world racing game!..my ps3 ID is DSC-VIPERSVENOM..I also play NFS:HP and of course GT-5

Now I see why I quit the game in the first place, 45 minutes for championship event, and roads. Since I did pick this game back up and since I did deleted my save (which had 100% done) I am regretting it.

The Ibiza and Hawaii tours are actually my favorite events in the game, and they're nowhere near as strict as the regular timed events. I wish more open road games had endurance type races with roads as interesting as TDU2.

I just got done finishing both tours back to back while zoning out to these. Perfect driving music:
