Anyway to become a VIP?

Is there anyway other than buying a new game that I can become a VIP? The auction house is a waste of time without it.

From what I've heard buying the launch pack recently released on XBL Marketplace gives you VIP status, double check this though as I'm no 100% certain

No it doesn't. Its just the launch and pre-order cars.

What may happen (as it did with FM3) is that the sell VIP membership and the VIP cars as a DLC, but nothing has been announced along those lines yet.

I hope they do that, if I remember correctly the money made by selling VIP in Forza 3 was donated to charity 👍 .

What do non VIPs miss out on in the Auction House? I preordered the LCE and didn't realise they'd bork such a large part of the experience for what I guess would be the majority of players, even though they've paid for Xbox Live in many cases.

Just some thought... I may be miles off so asking the questions
If you were a VIP with Forza3.. did this not carry over to Forza4 ?
i.e. VIP in FM3 but didn't buy Limited Edition Pack do you loose your VIP status? or is it just not recognised in FM4?

If it did carry over would buying the forza 3 VIP pack change your status? can it still be bought?

EDIT: Your VIP Status from Forza 3 does NOT transfer into Forza 4

What do non VIPs miss out on in the Auction House?

Their cars get listed at the top of the page and most people just look up there rather than scrolling down to find the non-VIPs cars.

On the other side its great for buyers, if they have the patience to scroll down a while their are a load of bargains to be had.
