Finally broke into the high 2:44s. Each practice session I seem to find another tenth or two, but this track is so long that it is hard to nail a perfect lap. The race should be a lot of fun tomorrow especially with the draft making the cars faster.

Dax, are there any spots on the track that need clarification on what is track and what is not? I am thinking of Eau Rouge and the final left turn before the last chicane where it is possible to affect the lap times.

-----

Also, this is just an idea and I want to see what everyone thinks: When you reset the track for qualifying, everyone joins the track at the same time and I experience a major delay before it loads me in the pits. When I finally am able to get on the track, usually a minute or more has passed.

What if you reset the track, everyone joins in, but no one is allowed to leave the pits until 1:00 minute total time is on the clock and qualifying ends at 11:00 minutes. This will give us a better chance of getting 3 flying laps instead of 2 at Spa.

Interesting thought concerning the delay when joining the track. That often happens to me too. Although your way could also cause quite the stack up in terms of traffic.

I doubt I'll be that quick tomorrow. I do like Spa quite a bit, but I'm not very good at it. And this series is becoming more serious. My hearts not in it anymore, really. I'll always put in what I feel like is the best I can do though, especially since I don't want to make Carb regret having chosen me as a replacement which was very kind of him.

Having second thoughts about running in this series due to the start time for the races. I get up at 8am all week for work, doing it on the weekends is tough when you look forward to sleeping in.

So, someone can have my spot.

Won't be late today, I'll record the GP or maybe watch it on iPlayer. ;)

That'll give me a bit of time to try and get that low '44 before the race. :mischievous:

EDIT: Since when did Monza go?

Morning guys.

16 laps today + 1 warm up.

Racing Rain tyres are now legal, although Inters are still disallowed so if you are found using them you will be disqualified.

Rain is expected.

Hopefully I will be back because I'm going to a model railway exhibition nearby so I should be back by about 3:30 3:45 will be touch and go

I'll try to make the whole distance, as I hope that it will rain...

I need to clean my pedals, the brake pedal keeps switching on on its own, but I'll wait until after this race...

I need to start practising for this.

My title challenge has been cocked up by my full time working... Damn you Marunda and your Sixth Form free time. :(

Anyway, strategy has been figured out after a quick run.

In which I have to do school work and am not allowed on the PS3.

Every week I'm a few tenths a lap off where I could be with more practice. :indiff: Here at Spa I could probably be brushing 1:43s with more time, at least be at low 44s.

Anyway, I hope the weather settings backfire and it stays dry all race. :P I seem to have good pace here in the dry. :D

Brandon and me were practicing yesterday with some GT5 'aliens'. We had a lot of fun doing some 5 lapper racing, on dry.
Honestly I don't know what is fun driving on wet

Slight issue with my participation after today's race: Next Sunday (Easter) the clocks go forward. Will the race stay at 4pm GMT or will it be at 4pm BST? :nervous:

4PM GMT... Why I no foresee this?

Ah. Well then this will be my last race this season. :(

And I was looking forward to Daytona/Laguna as well. You should be able to login and edit the tables Dax (as long as your e-mail hasn't changed) as I won't be able to without replays. 👍

Hopefully I'll be able to enter the next series. :)

I'm pretty certain it will be an issue for U.S. people as they went back a while ago (?).

~I don't want to force other people to quit just because I can't make it. I'm fine with dropping out if it affects other people, however I would love to see out this season.
