She was a talented R & B singer, and well liked in the industry. She sold millions of copies of albums to people who liked to listen to her music. If that's not you then don't listen to it. She was much more tasteful than many of her contemporaries.

As for a pop-R&B concert being filled with "deaf testosterone pumped buggers in the crowd who have an attention span of a corpse", this is opposed to the older-female dominated audience of music connesseuirs and opera buffs that typically attend such concerts?

It is obvious that R Kelly was her boyfriend when she was like 14 and then she suddenly was launched as a singer. If you've been watching MTV news once in a while I'm sure you know about the scandals which surround him.... so yeah I can pretty much say that she literally sucked her way to the top.

Agreed. I found this site during search of the GT4 release info. I rarely play video games anymore, and usually I'm here just to b/s and spends most of the time in "off-topic" forum. Bottom line, I just love the people here. 👍

I'm a huge Aaliyah fan, and I find her to be a huge inspiration.

In my eyes, she has done more for the progression of music than most people who were around twice as long as she was, and the same goes for Lisa Lopez.

I never said that I don't believe other people can miss her. It's just sick if someone is actually seriously thinking that someone after being buried for 4 years after a plane crash still looks good. Actually it's sick to think about what a corpse would look like to begin with. That doesn't matter, it's dead, a corpse isn't a person.

I think its funny how someone who would take the time to 'shop the words onto her picture wouldn't even bother to make sure that it was spelled correctly. You can't be miss unless whoever did this meant Miss Lopez, in which case, I'm sure they meant missed. They also missed the comma after the date and the period after the P.



But not from this computer they won't be missed. Sure, they were both talented but unless you knew them personally, how can you miss them?

Mainly, it was Vampires, it WAS the occult. If she was sincere about being God fearing she wouldn't have done that I'm sure. Yes she was a liar, she may have been a fashionable believer like many are but she put her work first in her life and she wasn't that talented in the first place. Like somoen said near the start of the thread, if she hadn't died she'd have sank back ito the depths on unknownness fairly quickly.
