Yeah on Forza it is quite likely that the car will get pretty bent out of shape.

Oddly enough If I do the same thing in my real car it behaves more like GT

It goes in a straight line with absolutely no deviation from that line? What car would this be?

I have owned lots of cars. I have had a couple that would indeed get bent out of shape and they were both cars that were equipped with a Posi rear. Other cars which have an open rear not so much.

Example I had 2 69 Cougars one with a posi rear and one with a limited slip rear. Huge difference between the 2. The Posi rear would throw the car sideways in a heartbeat and could be rather dangerous under wet or snowy conditions. The other with a limited slip I could easily destroy a tire on dry pavement and stay in a straight line. I even had one Firebird that would some times switch wheels while spinning and stay stable so long as you were not turning to the left the cars were stable.

Then again I do not see where the tire model has that much impact on the way the rear behaves while spinning. Both Forza an GT differentials behave a bit strangely and in the case of Forza it depends on which version you are playing what it does. On Forza 2 a high accel setting would cause power oversteer out of corners on Forza 3 a low accel setting would have that effect and on Forza 4 it is back to the high setting having that effect which of course is as it should be. Who knows what it will be on Forza 5.

The most noticeable thing to me on the new tire models is that they did finally fix the 55 PSI issue that was in the previous titles.

^That's suspension/drivetrain related - torque steer.
Sorry but you can't remove tyres from this.

Load transfer dictates in which direction the load moves, suspension then determines how it is distributed across the axle line, which in turn effects how much traction each tyre has (given that available grip is tyre/surface mU value x load).

Which would be fine apart from the fact that no car at all does this in GT, yet in FM4 is does indeed vary from car to car. Does FM4 get it 100% right? Of course not, but it is a lot further along the line than GT in this regard.

I would also fine it very surprising if your real car spins the tyres and catches grip in the exact same way as GT, as I've never come across a single car that does.

Other cars which have an open rear not so much.
I had a 320i with an open diff that would 'wiggle its hips' from a full throttle standing start, in GT5 a 330i with an open diff launches 100% straight.

6. I have heard this a lot but the tire model in Forza does not really seem much better perhaps a little but not enough that it is that big a deal to me.
7. I would say they have better tuning options but the model is flawed in more ways than one.
8. Quality cars is a matter of opinion. I find that Forza is a bit overloaded with super fast poor handling super/hyper cars. It does however have a decent selection of muscle cars although many can not be made competitive due to issues with the PI and trans.
9. I think GT5 wins this one hands down.
10. In some ways yes and in others no. Forza makes a good noise in general but not very realistic in most cases and sounds the same front, rear, inside on the cars I have tested. The sound in GT6 needs to be better but in many cases the GT5 sound was more true than what is in Forza.
11. GT6 will likely have something like this as well and while the clubs were a neat idea I find that they do not add much to the game the way they are implemented in FM4.
12. Granted although many of them are unrealistic.

There are also several things about GT that could be said make it a better game but I will not go into those. I listed already the things I think are the most important differences where Forza has the edge.
