Awesome thanks Moby !!! Really appreciate the tips, should definitely helpMost importantly on setting up overtakes, makes sense but wasn't something I wasn't really thinking of!
I've been in 5th mostly my main issue is momentum carrying me into the outside wall on exit, and I'm afraid of putting the death squeeze on a car passing high and on the outside.
EDIT: Basically massive understeer from apex through exit
You can usually get a good pass on the inside. It just takes a few turns to set that pass up.
The momentum pushing you to the outside wall could because of where you are deciding to lift throttle. Circle track racing requires great throttle work. You let all the way off, you lose all your speed you just built up. You let off too late and you are in the wall. And not all oval tracks are alike. They differ in how you approach them. For this track I usually ease off throttle just as I am entering the turn to allow the front tires to grip then keep adjusting my throttle until I can go full throttle again. Since I can't feel the tires or the car I have to rely on my eyes to do all the work, just try to know where your car likes to understeer and adjust accordingly.
