Qualifying:

• How it will work:
  
  All drivers will wait in their vehicle in the pits.
  The first driver will exit the pits to start their out lap.
  Once the first driver crosses the first or second sector line (depending on circuit) to start their out lap the next driver will exit the pits to start their out lap
  After the second driver crosses the first or second sector line (depending on circuit) to start their out lap the next driver will exit the pits to start their out lap
  this will continue until all drivers have exited the pits to start qualifying
  
  Cool down lap:
  After completing your hot lap/qualifying lap please continue to drive until you are a safe distance from the start/finish line
  Then please exit the track and return to the lobby or continue to the pits and wait until qualifying is over.
  Please remain greened up while in the lobby or your qualifying time will be nullified.
  
  How do I know when to exit the pits to start qualifying?:
  Please join the party chat. The lobby host will let you know when its your turn to exit the pits via party chat.

Competition Caution:

• A competition caution will be called at lap 80
• 5 laps prior to the caution pit lane will close (drivers may only enter if they have run out of fuel)
• Once the leader crosses the start/finish line to start the caution they will slow to caution pace
• Remaining drivers should continue to race to the start/finish line and then line up in order of position behind the leader
• The pits will then open and the leader will guide ALL drivers onto pit lane
• Drivers may choose to roll through pit lane or complete a pit stop but ALL drivers must enter the pits. This is to maintain position integrity
• Do not pass other drivers when entering the pits
• Drivers are allowed to gain position during pit stops (this is the only time during a caution you should gain or lose positions)
• After exiting the pits any lapped car may regain 1 lap and 1 lap only
• Once the lapped cars have rejoined the pack drivers will line up 2 wide for the race restart
• The leader will have the choice of inside or outside lane for restart. All other drivers will line up accordingly
• Racing resumes when the leader crosses the start/finish line

Sorry for the late notice. Season 11 Starts tonight.

We will be using the Renault R8 Gordini this season.
Power ratio will be 240% (244hp) weight reduction 90% (1687lbs)
we will be running on sport soft tires
Tire and fuel settings both set to x4

Tonight's circuit will be Goodwood 13:15 ToD

Qualifying for this season:

• There will be 2 qualifying races
• Each race will be 3-5 laps long depending on the circuit
• Half of the lobby will compete in the first qualifying race and the other half will compete in the second
• Each qualifying race will determine one side of the grid (Those who finish 1,2,3 in the qualifying would start 1,3,5 in the feature)
• The qualifying race with the fastest OVERALL finish time will determine who starts on the pole position side of the grid
• Qualifying races will be a grid start with false start check.
• Light damage during qualifying races

Feature race:

• Feature races will last roughly 30 - 35 mins
• Rolling start with a formation lap (we can do this)
• There will be a competition caution during the race (rules to follow)
• Heavy damage for the feature race

Formation lap:

• After the rolling start drivers will line up in a 2 wide formation and complete 1 pace lap around the circuit
• Pole position driver will have choice of which lane to start from
• After the lead driver has made their choice the remaining drivers will line up behind the pole position driver accordingly
• Pole position driver will be in charge of keeping a steady pace around the track for everyone to follow
• Racing begins when the lead driver crosses the start/finish line

• Drivers who enter the pits while they are closed are not permitted to change tires and may only take enough fuel to get them to the caution lap. All damage may be repaired.
• Once the leader crosses the start/finish line to start the caution they will slow to caution pace
• Remaining drivers should continue to race to the start/finish line and then line up in order of position behind the leader
• The pits will then open and the leader will guide ALL drivers onto pit lane
• Drivers may choose to roll through pit lane or complete a pit stop but ALL drivers must enter the pits. This is to maintain position integrity
• Do not pass other drivers when entering the pits
• Drivers are allowed to gain position during pit stops (this is the only time during a caution you should gain or lose positions)

• 1 bonus point will be awarded for pole position
• 1 bonus point for any driver that gets a clean race award for the feature race (use the share button to take a screenshot after the race is completed and send to me so I may verify)
• 2 bonus point for the holy s**t moment of the race. (driver must be nominated by another driver for this award)

Yeah I could only imagine what it's like. My official day off is tomorrow but I have to work friday still. Due to 2020 being 2020 my family isn't coming up and I do not have my son this week. So like you I will have plenty of time to dream up things. Lol
